I'm not sure where to post this, so I post here since there's no forum dedicated to website features discussion.

I think it's safe to say this site is intended mostly for people who are interested in hooking up, but there are a lot of women on here who are already collared. etc. which results in wasted time when you try to message them.

Seriously, if you are already in a relationship, why do you even come to this website, you are just waisting everyone's time.

With that being said, it would be great if a little drop down box could be added for people to indicate their r/s status such as "actively looking" "looking for conversation only", etc. so you could filter out all those profiles.

It would also be great if the same could be done for all the hookers, so you could automatically filter out all those scam profiles that want "tributes"

Sorry you feel folks are wasting your time.. but has it occured to you that culitvating a FRIENDSHIP with some of those women that arent looking might lead to NETWORKING?

Isn't there a section to choose "friends only" and the like? When you are both searching and when you are putting together your profile?

I have, in the past, checked off "friends only" in my "actively looking section."

Perhaps when you're doing your search you could specify who it is you're looking for and narrow down the results.

I am not looking for to hook up, but I come to this website because last time I checked it was a free world and I could do so if I wished too. I enjoy talking to some of the friends I have made on here though and browsing the forums.

A lot of people put in their profile what they are looking for, now I know that means you might have to read them, but hey, you might find yourself interested in them if you did.

OP, there IS a "They are seeking" drop-down menu in the profile search section... so, maybe you're just not paying attention.

how about actually reading people's profiles? When I do have my profile unhidden I always say "taken" in my profile and I check the box that says "friends only".

I'm going to assume you don't read profiles. You are just one of these people that looks at the pics and thinks "she's hot so I'll email her".

This is a particular gripe I've never really understood. If someone isn't looking for anything, you can normally see it by their profile. If someone's reading speed is so slow that skimming a profile takes significantly longer than looking at a check box, a text-based dating medium is probably not an ideal choice for them...
