Clinton is as clueless as you are about the ideas of the occupy movement.  We do have ideas and demands.  They are all outlined in several rough drafts of what is called the 99% declaration.  Take a look at one such draft:

Well I guess reason went out the window... The City met with OSTL representatives and an agreement could not be reached. They have been given until 3 pm Friday to vacate the Plaza.

I am still hoping for a compromise...maybe a reduced footprint or another location. Both OSTL and the City has vowed that the eviction will be non-violent…We will see.

Many of the Occupiers are homeless and say they have no where else to go…I do hope the police come with information on shelters in the area.

Although I agree with the messages but not the burden the protesters are forcing on the Citizens I don’t think that an eviction without a compromise agreement is the way to go.

The OSTL will talk it over at meeting tonight at 7pm. The City has said they will only ask the protesters to step onto the sidewalk surrounding the Plaza during the hours the park is closed… not to stop protesting.

If I were OSTL late tonight I would pick up lock stock and barrel and move on the Arch grounds...or Forest park...or Tower Grove Park...maybe all three.

I've always wondered why the Occupiers messed around with City parks when the Arch grounds were right next door. Occupying Federal ground would be a bigger story and potentially could force Obama or the Congressional Opposition to clearly show their sympathies.

At least until this Tuesday, when a federal judge will make a final ruling on a restraining order, Kiener Plaza is finally free of the tent city and the park can be used as it was intended. The park grounds have taken a beating the last few weeks and it will take some time to recover.

The OSTL supporters melted away even though they had said they would stay united and be arrested. Only 27 refused to leave and were taken into custody.

Thank heavens all was peaceful… The protesters said they would be non-violent and stuck to their promise and so did the police.

The protesters have been offered an area next to City Hall where they can occupy if they would like. I believe all are trying to be reasonable but the protests here are far from over or decided.

Why is using economic leverage considered "violence"?  When professional sports teams and other businesses boycotted Arizona on account of its immigration laws, how was that economic action considered 'violence'?   When church groups call up a television network and tell them about their boycott of advertisers due to the profanity in programming, is that 'violence'? Or is it simply using the power of the purse?

Economic leverage is voting with your dollars, not preventing other people from voting with theirs.

That area is the approach to the gateway arch and is heavily used by tourists and the local citizens coming downtown. During the world series it was not a problem and there were many people in the area but I’m sure a lot of the complaints came then…But… that is not the case now. The mayor did not say who or where the complaints came from.

He is a Democratic mayor as is the city so I don’t believe the proposed crackdown is politically motivated.

He did say this crackdown would be different in that the protesters would be asked to remove their tents and would be given a reasonable time to comply.

I am asking… can the protesters get their points across between 6am and 10pm at night? What real advantage is it to have a tent city between 10pm and 6 am.

Butch

They go home to warm abodes at night, they just leave their filthy bacteria ridden posessions behind.

I stand by the wording I used because I think they are acting with contempt.

So a "cunt" is someone who acts with contempt?

I would think someone if your intelligence could use a far better word.

It wasn't intended as an exact definition but I feel its apt enough...

Intellectual dishonesty is far more offensive than "cunt".

Polite, sometimes you have to leave the clueless to their fantasy worlds.

Youre dishonest without the intellect. There is where the irony lies.

And yet, when asked, you repeatedly fail to back up a claim, something I never do.

Because you never make a factual claim, all of your drivel is opinion and personal attacks, like your sisters. Now go press that skirt, its a bit wrinkled.

Tell that to those who are keeping the Cuban embargo in place.

Nice try but not actually true, all threads I start have a link. I set a low bar for your posts and this one shows you continually manage to crawl under it.
