Oh, you will be ecstatic. When I first moved to Florida, I was 40 years old. Went to a bar with friends (did that a lot there, lol) and I still had my NJ license which didn't have a picture (they weren't required yet, until renewal was needed). I got carded at the bar, to which I looked at the guy and said, "Seriously?" Handed him my license, to which he told me was not my license. Told him it was and to actually read it.

I was hysterical when he told me that I should have a picture ID because if the ABC ever came in, they could get in serious trouble. I pointed out to him that while I might look younger than I was, I looked well over 21 and the ABC wouldn't have any trouble figuring that out.

Status: offline 		I've never had that happen but I would have just responded with, "I can speak for myself."   I think that sort of sums it all up and it could be used in a vanilla situation as well.   

But, I agree that I dislike it when people are butting in.

Status: offline 		The people who've come down on me for being submissive were some of my closest friends.  They don't understand it, think I'm being taken advantage of and generally get all up in arms about it.  So I just don't tell people anymore, I don't have the strength or energy to argue that I'm quite comfortable doing what i do and that at the very core of my being it's who *I* am.

I'm not going to change their minds, they're not going to change mine.  So we agree to disagree and leave it at that.  Now if a perfect stranger said something to me, then that'd be a whole nuther ballgame.  I know my friends have my best interests at heart, they've seen me go through some hellish experiences with me, (before the D/s part), so I understand their viewpoint.  But if someone comes along who doesn't like that P would sit down instead of me, or whatever the situation was, well, he knows me well enough that I can be a mouthy thing and things are going to be said.  And he'll just stand there and let it happen because he knows I can handle myself.  Oboyoboyoboy, can I.
