There are only two things that get the rabid right hoppin' up and down and crapping in their cages. One is murdering Muslims; world opinion and human decency be dammed, while at the same time enriching the 1% of the private sector that is morphing into the countries mercenary military machine Ike warned us about, and the other one is their never-ending crusade to ensure women are turned into barefoot baby factories. Looking at global economic factors, shifted global alliances, power shifts in the Middle East, population growth and current perceptions on all sides, it is not a matter of "if" another World War starts, but when.

The issue with the equatible treatment regardless of sex, race, etc. is those in cultural power do not exercise a "duty of care".

Both of the above are influenced heavily by religious and moral factors, which are one in the same for many people.

Actually the world is getting more peaceful as time goes by.You wouldn`t know it if you`re a fux-head or even primarily a MSM consumer.

That does`nt let us(the "civilized" or 1st world) off the hook when it comes to helping others.

We should at the very least be pushing and promoting peace,security and economic freedom as much as we can.We can`t save the world and no one is suggesting we can but we should do what we can and as much as we can muster,TWJWD.

Now the cons.....

.....threatening war,promising war and trying to scare people, in order to win an election?

Talk about irresponsibility and negligence,carelessness and lame-swagger.These cons are making it an art form.Some are actually trying to out war monger the other.

You`d think that lying us into a war and getting 4 thousand of our GIs killed for nothing would have taught these guys a leason.Not the least of which is that folks don`t trust them when it comes to matters of war and peace.

They aren`t going very deep into what bombing Iran might cause,the blow-back or possible WWIII scenarios.We`re getting fanciful narratives from the right, where we bomb their nuke plants,saving the world from the evil Iranians and they don`t respond,the end.

It`ll be no big deal,like Iraq was no big deal....

But thinking people know it won`t be the end.

Hitler invaded both austria and czechoslovakia a year before the non aggression pact with the ussr.
The ussr had a military alliance with france. Churchill persuaded poland not to let the ussr cross their territory to come to the aid of france should germany attack france.
Stalin knew that hitler would eventually attack the ussr and since churchills "intervention" (as it was called) prevented him from having troops as far west as possible he made the only rational deal he could.

It was thier dividing of Eastern Europe that gave Hitler, the safe front to attack the west.

No it was churchill's "intervention" in poland that allowed germany to attack france with no fear of russia at his back.

That, even more than the appeasement by the Leftists of England and France, is what got WW2 started.

Orion has it right. "WW3" or at least the Eastern Hemispheric War is a given with the game pieces getting set up in the "house of cards."

2020 is a good center date, see how the timetable went down the last two times, both China and Russia look like that is what they think too, from the scheduled of their new military toys service arrival. Not that they wilol be the ones starting it.

Out of NATO and out of Eurasia is a good plan to keep North America out of the troubles.
