Well no it's not. I learned that very early,when i was about 10 we had a big turk who wasbeing raised to be the guest of honor, and i didn't know any better bout not making friends. i was so sad.
You can't help liking them when you hand raise them from a few weeks old.
2 of the turkeys will even walk up to us, and sit down, so we'll pet them.
