You should apologize also DC, though I ain't holding my breath.

You should go and hire a prostitute. No woman could stand to be around you without plugging her ears and holding her breath.

I would like to invoke TOS 7.3.6. Domiguy cease all contact with me.

Lucylastic -> RE: Video - Pepper Spray Incident Debunked (11/27/2011 4:57:41 PM)

Lucylastic -> RE: Video - Pepper Spray Incident Debunked (11/27/2011 6:26:25 PM)

just got a tweet saying Scott Olsen is back withthe occupy crowd...the link read...
Just ten minutes ago I ran into Scott Olsen (the marine who got shot in the head) in downtown Oakland. It's his first day back on the scene, and he seems to be doing quite well. He's wearing a neck brace but he gets around and is talking perfectly fine. And I say if he's rebounded from the crackdown on the Occupy movement, the rest of us can rebound and rebuild camps that are better than ever.

gOOD FOR HIM, MUCH RESPECT

And in honor of Scott's return how about a little light of truth. The fact that Sanity basically uses terminology that infers foul play with the audio(ie - "embedded").... and ya know what? I think he's right the audio IS faked. And just so we're crystal clear... here is the longest available video currently available... So basically, the the audio is either bogus or these so-called demands occurred between 6-10 minutes before they sprayed  the students sitting peacefully on the ground. Not likely

Occupy Toronto goes underground — on Queen West

A hulking man with his hair in a bun and face partially shielded by a flower-print scarf marches down a dark alley in determined strides.

As Antonin Smith approaches the city-owned St. Patrick Market building a few feet from Queen St. W., just east of John St., he stops abruptly and snaps his head from side to side.

With covert gestures, Smith ushers his confederates through an unlocked door and down the stairs at 238 Queen St. W., to an abandoned basement he hopes will represent the next phase of a stifled movement.

Occupy Toronto is moving indoors.

And it’s illegal.

“This whole basement is barricaded,” said 34-year-old Smith.

“We’re squatting this space.”

He bolts the door behind him. There are thick silver locks installed to keep police away until Smith and his crew of about 25 — the “Squat Squad” — can come up with a plan.

Since being evicted from St. James Park last Wednesday, those involved in the Toronto movement have been looking for a place to go, to continue the rally against the so-called one per cent and an overarching battle against inequality.

Some are holding the communal general assembly meetings at Nathan Phillips Square, while others appear to be converging on public spaces organized via Twitter.

But the trend worldwide has shifted inside.

In London this month, protesters moved into abandoned UBS bank offices. In Vancouver, Detroit and L.A., they are mulling similar moves to get away from the elements.

Smith, who was in charge of the food team at St. James Park, wants to take over the Queen St. building to carry out the movement’s aims, including feeding the “hungry people of Toronto.”

“Our goal is to become the legitimate (tenant), and then fix the place up,” he said. “We were doing 1,000 meals out of a park. Imagine what we could do out of this location.”

Silly skippy has some insults and talks about poop.....

Yet the reality of round 3 has occured, and it was a complete failure.

The strike failed.

And OWS proved yet again that they are the less than 1%

Out of over 32000 students, a few hundred protested. and some of the protestors were not even students.

and it was mostly anti tution hikes.

Everyone has seen the video and knows the Police were absolutly correct in using the Pepper spray.

No one came to protest.

Its a fucking shame people are encouraging kids to riot.

Tuition hikes was why the first protest was held. Why would you expect it to be any different for the second is beyond me.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Gov. Jerry Brown sent a letter Monday to the state agency that sets the guidelines for police officer training to review how pepper spray is used in public protests.

The letter from Brown to Paul Cappitelli, executive director of the Commission on Peace officer Standards and Training, comes a little over a week after students protesting fee hikes at UC Davis were pepper sprayed.

Brown asks Cappitelli that POST review its 2003 Crowd Management and Civil Disobedience Guidelines and make changes to ensure that First and Fourth amendments are protected.

READ: Gov's Letter To POST

Brown writes, "I am seriously concerned that the rules governing the use of force, in particular the use of pepper spray, are not well understood in the context of civil disobedience and various forms of public protest."

Brown says that the recent "occupation protests" in California and on UC campuses indicate an urgency that the guidelines are "crystal clear and comport with constitutional requirement."

Two UC Davis campus police officers and the campus police chief have been put on administrative leave following the Nov. 18 incident.

luckydawg -> RE: Video - Pepper Spray Incident Debunked (11/28/2011 7:58:07 PM)

Do you think the letter says that Moonbeam condems the actions by the police?

Your comprehension seems so bad, you might think it actually does.

THe commission has been asked by Moonbeam to clarify the rules.....

Wow, so he is doing, like nothing.

Because he knows the police were right.

He is so upset he sent the commision a letter asking for a clarification.....

And what do you infer from the Left wing bitch who ordered the Police to remove the camp, trying to blame the officers on the scene to cover her ass.

Everyone knows thats how left wingers with power behave.

She sends them out to do a nasty stressfull thing, and them blames them to try and keep her job.

Disgusting.

I saw as you called it "The fucking video" Obviously, you didn't. How can a guy who freely moves from one side of a line to the other claim he was 'trapped" by that line?

If he had just said "I told them to disperse and they refused so I sprayed them" I wouldn't have much of a problem but the officer had to be a drama llama and lie about the situation. The photographs and video don't jibe with his story.

In view of widespread public concern, I am requesting that POST carefully review it's 2003 Crowd Management and Civil Disobedience Guidelines and, without delay, make whatever changes are necessary to ensure compliance with First and Fourth Amendment protections against excessive force.

When you step, you step deep.

"After the initial storming of the building, more than half the demonstrators left to go do other things. Back at camp on the quad, amid the colorful tents, Brenton Dumas is not a student but he is there to lend support.

“Question, when do you think you might leave?” FOX40 asked Dumas. “Oh never, I live in this town, forever,” he said.

“I mean from here,” asked FOX40. “Oh, now that you are being specific, a few minutes, I have to go medicate,” said Dumas.

There are some smaller political movements, including a Socialist group, but Capitalism has made an appearance.

One man is selling t-shirts that say “PWA, Pigs With Attitude” over an image of a UC Davis Officer pepper spraying students. The shirts are selling for as much as $20 each. The seller told FOX40 he has sold 300 of them so far."

Occupy LA has been reduced to mostly homeless people that will return to the Santa Monica Pier if the free food stops. I havent heard anything about Oakland or Boston for quite a while. I'd say the hydrogen sulfide gas has been pretty much expelled from the balloon.

But it doesn't jibe with the story the students tell either. None of the students who were pepper sprayed react in the least. The video clearly shows them being hit directly in the face and just sitting there. That must have been some weakass pepper spray and not nearly the full strength stuff. Personally I think that video shows that both sides were lying about what happened and the truth is entirely different.

Holding your breath and squeezing your eyes shut will diminish the effects in the short term. the delayed reactions of the students are being attributed to that. however, as in the case of the long video I posted, you can see many students reacting.
