You were a supporter of Geller last year when you were acting upset about a mosque in lower Manhattan but now she isn't "prominent."

Since I don't know what their positions were, I don't really know if I did or not.

But if it makes you feel frisky, and you want to do some research, the only two threads I discussed the NYC mosque were:

This is what made me pro-mosque - 9/12/2010 12:57:25 AM

There were two mosques in the WTC,when it was destroyed - 9/13/2010 8:56:29 PM

Feel free to look and report back to us.

I still won't have a clue to who "Fischer" and "Geller" are.

No doubt the Turkeys will be building victory sandwiches as we speak.

I saw a programme in Current.tv called Islamophobia, Geller featured as well as Tommy Robinson from the EDL...nuff said.

You mean the threads where you argued it was a "victory" mosque that was being built?
http://www.collarchat.com/m_3400883/mpage_3/key_mosque/tm.htm#3401439

Now where did the "victory mosque" meme come from? Pamela Geller.

Very funny article and comments.

We have a new family tradition started last year, and that is we have Mexican for Thanksgiving dinner, and actually for the entire week.

This should actually be in the humor section.

When I lived in New Hampshire there was a guy in the neighborhood who took orders for "fresh-killed" turkeys every year.
He grew them out in his back yard.
Two or three days before Thanksgiving everyone would go to his place and if it was very cloudy or overcast he'd have a bonfire going and everyone would be drinking beers and slaughtering their own turkeys and then dunking them into a big drum of boiling water to help get the feathers off.
If it was sunny out we couldn't have a bonfire as the forest service watch towers would triangulate the smoke and the Fire Dept. would show up all pissed off. lol
The "fresh-killed" turkeys were great! A lot of taste to them unlike a frozen supermarket turkey. You kind of get spoiled on them once you've had one.

Well, at least you could find one of the two threads.

The second link above only leads to a post by willburdaddy, not me.  The post above and below his aren't mine either, so I'm not sure how if you got the url wrong, other than you normal carelessness in thought.

And fyi, since you are obviously attempting to change the subject (from Geller and Fischer being leading rightwingtards), my position was that there was no legal reason to deny the building, only that it would appear as in bad taste and insensitive to some.

No, what I'm doing is proving that when you spouted the "victory mosque" nonsense you were spreading an idea whose origins lies with Geller.

Sort of proves the point doesn't it? You spread her claims without even knowing who she was, if you actually didn't, that's pretty influential.

Back to Halal turkeys......

What I got out of the article is that all turkeys are killed in halal fashion and they just don't mention it to the goyim or infidels, depending.

I went to other links. Muslims porport that halal is more hygenic and more humane. USDA tested animals killed conventionally and halal. Animals are supposedly insensible sooner killed halal.

--------

The meat is drained of blood more quickly than conventional slaughter since the animal isn't held up by one chained leg. They are more calm and not in a panic. Panic raises cortisol levels and blood drains more slowly. In Islam all bood is considered a contaminant (najess in Farsi, I think).

As a Christian, I'm all for more humane slaughter (what an oxymoron!!). Bring on the halal/kosher!

EFTypos.

"Fischer" and "Geller"? Never frigging heard of them. They are not "prominent" in any way that matters.

When Adolf Hitler led the unsuccessful Beer Hall Putsch in Munich, Germany, accompanied by Rudolf Hess (eventually Deputy Fuehrer and later found guilty of crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials, dying in prison), Hermann Goering (later found guilty of crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials and who committed suicide in prison), Ernst Roehm (head of the Nazi’s Paramilitary group, the S.A., until later executed by Hitler), and Julius Streicher (found guilty of crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials and executed) in November of 1923, there were, no doubt, many Germans who said at that time:

“Hitler? Hess? Goring? Roehm? Streicher? Never frigging heard of them. They are not "prominent" in any way that matters.”

Of course they were correct - those non-entities never became "'prominent' in any way that matters” and just disappeared, forgotten by everyone by 1924, a year later.

Look, I don't always agree with Firm, but this post is ridiculous.

1. Firm has never claimed to not know prominent people in the government, which is what the Nazis listed were.  He has claimed not to know some relatively un-prominent conservatives.  Hell, I never heard of them before - why should he?
2. Hitler's goal was to rule the world and he had no issue with slaughtering millions of people along the way.  To draw a parallel between that kind of powerful evil and a couple of loonies that scream about turkey killing methods is ludicrous.
