That's not what the site i used said.  But Your intrepretation makes more sense.

This translated isn't really any kind of an insult or anything, so it has to be some kind of a slang reference to something else.  Something to do with protecting the king and is anyone doing it.

And yes, I know I answered them in reverse order, but I tried spending a little extra time translating the first phrase, but like I said, it kept coming out as gibberish, even with different spellings.

Dustyn, dear, the way the game is played is You translate Your predecessor's latin sentence and state one of Your own.
 
This one should be easy enough:
