His semi-nakedness is beside the point, though, isn't it? It's about the effect that they're having. My guess is that our Mr Toolbelt doesn't receive any attention that would worry or annoy him.

I definitely have less experience with straight men than most of the women here-- but I've found that the majority of the men I've met and gotten to know seem to be more fetish driven. I think being fetish driven changes things. It makes people very single minded. Also for FWIW, I know several gay men who are similar. I know a few women who are similar but very few.

Another thing I learned was folks new to BDSM, and who are very fetish orsexually driven have that old misconception that this is 1) all about sex and 2) therefore, most women are more sexually driven and or sexually promiscuous. I once had a potential partner refer to me as promiscuous -- that was his impression -- it was incorrect, but if I beat a naked person on a cross, who wasn't my partner, he saw it that way. Of course, we didn't get much past the second time we saw one another.

ETA: I think that the internet sometimes makes some people act differently than they might in a face to face social type setting (a playparty or munch). So, if the basis of this discussion is on CM or the internet as a whole -- I think its very different in real life...or face to face for many.

ALL ... I said all... its certainly about sex, but for some, its not all about sex...its about relationship, pain, power, fun, companionship, sometimes even community.. or even marriage and sex too... for some, its not all about sex

Not all service relationships are about INTERCOURSE. Really, it's totally pssible to do what we do in many iterations with none of the involved parties having orgasms in each other's presence.
