hahahaa ^_^ noice ^_^

It was mostly situational stuff. He'd make note of something and give me an alteration plan after something bothered him. hahaha

That immediately brought images of "sleeping with the enemy" to my mind.  I realize that probably isn't how your previous relationship was, but I couldn't help remembering how the towels on the rack had to line up, the cans all sitting a certain way...

Then I thought about how I had to teach my housemate that the stuff in the refrigerator doesn't go in all willy nilly or it gets lost...

littlewonder -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 5:49:36 PM)

Master does that all the time when he comes over..if he doesn't like how something is arranged he tells me and I change it. He wants the toilet paper over and not under, he wants the bed made all the time. He doesn't like things that are messy or out of place. Thankfully I don't either but I admit sometimes I've forgotten or just gotten tired or sick or something and it isn't the way he wants. He just gives me a little nudging reminder then lol. He comes over and uses my stuff all the time. The only time he'll ask if he can use it is if he thinks I may have to use whatever it is for school or work or something...like my computer. Mine works better than his for online exams and such because his internet sucks lol but if he thinks I may be having to take a test at the same time I just be sure to let him know and we make new arrangements. I always ask to use his stuff though even if it's just getting a glass to get something to drink..it's just how the way it works with us.

LafayetteLady -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 6:21:11 PM)

And that's all that really matters at the end of the day, isn't it?  That it works for the people involved.

Re: the toilet paper...I can honestly say that I could not be involved with someone who had a preference on which way the roll was on the spindle.  To me (and it is just to me), that is such a little thing in life, and since I'm the one primarily using the toilet paper....

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 6:42:04 PM)

I don't think it's such a big deal to change it. It's trivial, yeah - just toilet paper. :p
I guess it's all relative to perspective. Haha :p

hausboy -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 7:02:34 PM)

except for us totally OCD folks....who will keep switching it so that it comes off the top of the roll....[:D]
wasn't much of an issue when I was married.  damn woman probably changed the toilet roll once in 14 years.....

LaTigresse -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 7:16:44 PM)

I am OCD on the most stupid stuff.....like the TP roll and how the towels are folded and put away.

SweetCheri -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 7:21:43 PM)

We have overs and unders as far as TP preferences go, but we have two bathrooms, so one is over and one is under. So they are happy or annoyed, depending on which bathroom they use. [:)]

RexDarcy -> RE: Stuff about stuff (12/12/2011 8:06:18 PM)

The TP is always over for Me, not under. The toilet seat and lid need to be down after each use.

I forgot about my toilet seat and lid one also.

And I don't care if the dusting gets done or if there are dog hair dust bunnies under the tables........the kitchen and bathroom must be clean. Especially the kitchen. A gruddy microwave, stove top, sink, counter is just totally EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A crusty bathroom is just nasty. Dried mud, tracked in by the back door.....no so much so.

That was probably because you kept switching it.  She eventually said "fuck it, then you change the roll," LOL.

That actually the reason I probably don't care.  Years of my son leaving the empty roll, I just wanted the toilet paper there!

I'm very OCD about the how things go in the fridge, and in the closets.  I kid myself that it is because that is how I make sure there is room for everything, but I really know it is just being anal about it, lol.

Certainly, and I recognize that there are those out there who live as slaves to a different level than what works for others.

That said, I also suspect that sometimes there's a bit of, shall we say, creative license with how some folks represent their daily lives as slaves.  I don't really care--as you said--it's their life, not mine--but it's when that is presented as the slave that is more "real and true" than others that I get a bit....annoyed.

I think there is a hell of a lot of creative license. Many of these so called Masters and slaves are thespians. They have made slavery and Mastery an art form.
Some learn to adjust and live within a totally different lifestyle than most of us are familiar with and that isn't just the slave but the Master too. If two people want that badly enough then I do believe its possible to enter into and thrive in such a setting.
These are not the people that go to fet clubs on collar and leash or eat their dinner from a dog bowl under the table and brag about it on the boards. These are people that have learnt and embraced the subtleties of a lifestyle that differs very much from the norm but can easily remain invisible to the outside world.

As far as 'real and true' what a nonsense that is [8|]

Steve would do well with a slave because his personality is that of a leader and yet he has absolutely no desire to own a slave. Does that make him less of a dominant than all those guys out there calling themselves Masters?
He has low tolerance levels that never waver when it comes to how he enjoys his home, his food, his company. His personality didn't evolve like this when he found this lifestyle. He was always like this. I think his type of personality would slip smoothly into being a lifestyle Master if that's what he desired. When I watch how he interacts with Chloe I can but stand back and admire the naturalness and ease in which he entices her to submit to him.
Being with me, a dominant woman, doesn't intimidate him in the least. A fem Domme friend said to me recently that I am one of the most intimidating women she knows and yet Steve has the ability to lead me as smoothly as melted butter across a slice of bread. I'm not subservient or submissive in the least and yet I continually find myself dancing to his tune! He is like the magician with magic powers that removes all of my usual stubbornness and has me questioning the ease in which he manages to do that!!

There are many weak personalities out there. Many so called Masters that need that ready made slave so they can jump into that role-play figure that makes them feel good about themselves. They will always be in role-play mode when with their slave. They remind me of performing puppets. You watch these people move from one relationship to the next, often becoming bitter about the lack of 'real slaves'. Slavery is enticed before it is fed to a Master on a silver spoon and so many people just don't get that.
