On reading the speech, did you get the feeling that Obama was disgusted that he helped liberate the people of Iraq

Yes I did read it. You can make up your own reasons for his praising soldiers all you want but the best thing they can do out there is survive long enough to make it home. if you don't believe me, ask one yourself.

Invading Iraq was a shitty decision from day 1.

It was handed off to the present administration as a no win situation.

We're out of there for better or worse. Hopefully no more of our young men and women will be hurt and killed there.

I look for a creeping presence of Iran in the near future. That is the reason Bush the First didn't depose Hussein. Hussein was the only one that kept Iran busy and mostly out of mischief and he realized that. Too damn bad his son wasn't that smart. But, what the hell, his friends made billions.

Of course, there are some Leftists that disagree.

Right, evidently theyve convinced themselves that inwardly Obama actually hates our armed forces, and he hates what America and our allies achieved in Iraq... and that he was lying through his teeth in that speech, probably just using his appearance at Ft Bragg as a prop for reelection purposes

I have explained myself, indeed I am blue in the face explaining myself. You said Obama claims credit, now you are suggesting because he didnt say he claimed credit, he "sounds as if" he is claiming credit.

See, you still dont get it, even using your own convaluted version of English. WE as you point out is inclusive, inclusive of America as a whole.

Sanity`s Op claims Obama claims the credit, he does, but on behalf of the US.

No amount of name calling or b/s posts on your behalf will change that in anyway shape or form.
