Bondage is probably my favourite activity within the lifestyle. Control freak that I am, bondage is a logical physical manifestation of that control over her.

Yeah, it has practical aspects during a scene, too, but I also rather like scenes that begin and end only with her restrained immobility. All she need do is go where ever it is subs go during sub-space and I'll happily do the Dom equivalent. Great way to totally "lose" a few hours of contented bliss without even realising....

Status: offline 		Intellectually, I understand the emotions of those who love to be bound. I have seen some impressive suspensions, and know several people who are very talented and experienced riggers.

Me, I find it a bit 'meh'.

I prefer to be bound by his words, to demonstrate to him by my choices that I am his obedient slave.

Status: offline 		I am actually a fan of bondage for bondage sake. It can totally be a destination in and of itself.

Mental bondage is also something I enjoy. It's a different experience, nnot better, not worse, just different.

Status: offline 		I enjoy the thought process I go through, and the look in her eyes. Putting on her collar to start is still a ritual, then the cuffs, and I prefer chains. There is something about the sound of them. I like to do this as slow as possible. It's as much about me controlling myself as it's about me controlling her.

Status: offline 		I guess for me is that bondage makes me feel safe and secure The first time a Domme had me tied to the bed the one thing I did not expect was I could not get that big grin off my face. But the Domme quickly took care of that in a heart beat. So yes I do love it.

Status: offline 		I do more chain now. Faster to the desired result of control, but with speed you don't allow the full effect of the binding to sink in. Rope has it place for me when find allows it.

Status: offline 		I do not have a lot of experience yet with bondage; I've tied up a few sessions (Okay, bad pun :-P), both physical and mental/emotional. Seems best when the two are tightly bound together (no pun was intended that time, just came out that way :-P). Like most things that interest and draw me, it's the variety that I enjoy the most. There is the control; Having my partner completely under my control, almost completely helpless, going where I guide and direct them to go. There is pleasure and joy, in the sense that if my partner is enjoying themselves and starts letting go, I can feel it from them and it is a great thing to feel, and even some pleasure of my own in knowing it is I whom brought this out in my partner. There is a lot of creativity and art I see in those whom are skilled and very much in to bondage. Examining how the knots were tied and how the rope was laid out, every strand serving a specific purpose, yet artfully done.. Can give me shivers just looking.

One of the best things for me is that bondage can also exist well in a number of scenarios. It does not always have to be kinky/erotic/sexual, nor does it always have to be deep and elaborate. Just search the 'net for "cuffs" and see how many photos are out there with people simply holding a pair of cuffs, yet we know that many/most peoples' minds will start to whir down the same track.

Am sure there is more, but not feeling very articulate yet. Still waiting for that first pot of coffee for the day to finish brewing.

As a subject I get pleasure, physical, emotional and mental; a feeling of contentment and belonging; I get an erotic charge like no other; a sense of security; and a sense of release in that I no longer have to think or do, I just be. As the subject, the feeling of vulnerability, the helplessness and the knowledge that whatever happens to you, there is nothing to feel guilty about as it is not your choice any more...

Status: offline 		mmm one of my favourite subjects, As a top, I enjoy the journey, from the beginning preparation, to the knots, to the symmetry, to the feeling of hot flesh, the feeling of flesh when it shivers and goosebumples as you turn and tie, stroking the skin with yours, or the rope. I dont use chains much, but I adore the shivers, when I do, I dont do suspension, I dont do enormously extravagant knots, I like mummification, I like it as part of the sensory deprivation build up.
I love tying him up for the night, caressing the rope/cuffs/ etc around him reminding him of his helplessness, I enjoy teasing him, being evil and tormenting him, when he pretends to be nonchalant and I ramp it up a few notches till he cries. I enjoy watching him zone out in public when I stroke part of the rigging under his clothes. TO be a bottom... meh only he knows how that makes me feeel:)
