quote:
ORIGINAL: ClassIsInSession He isn't isolationist, he's non-interventionist. To differentiate, an isolationist is like N. Korea. A non-interventionist, will trade with anyone who comes to the table equally and equitably, but won't pick sides in conflicts we have no business in. Anti-semetic? Ron Paul, no...anti foreign aid and preserving the sovereignty of nations, absolutely. He is the only politician that hasn't made a pilgrimage to Israel, and yet defends their right to take care of business as they see fit. Ron Paul isn't getting the love because he's about real liberty and real ethics, he can't be bought. That's the main reason you should all be voting for him. He defends your right to be who you are without the government having any care about it. That goes for gay, straight, bi, drug use or no, whatever religion or not....liberty. Well said! We're seeing a lot of "Ron Paul" signs here in S.C. as well as a few "Romney" signs. I have to admit that I do like a lot of Ron Paul's ideas. When he says, "We need to mind our own business" he's absolutely right! We don't need to be the fire, police, rescue service, banker for the rest of the world because big banks would suffer if we didn't. If that's what they need then big banks-corporations should hire their own security forces to do those things not steal from the Taxpayers. And if two countries want to rip each other to pieces I certainly don't want my govt. getting involved in it. Does any other country on earth have thirteen Carrier Battle Groups? All of Europe? Asia?
