i am curious as to what a Man looks for in a woman when in public. It's been an interesting day with interesting conversation so to continue on with that i thought i would ask. ~smiles~

you should clarify this somewhat for Me, if you could.... the thread name is asking "how I want My woman to look in public"... but in your post, you ask what I'm "looking for in a woman" in public....

well... at times I have, and still do, go so far as to pick out her wardrobe for the day/evening/etc....

but mostly... I don't care what she wears, as long as she doesn't look like a scrub. She knows that she is a direct reflection of Me, in all ways... and she goes so far as to ask My approval of whatever it is she's planning on wearing (if I don't pick it out specifically), and if its ok for her to leave the house without wearing makeup.

I know not everyone is as strictly regimented in these affairs.... but thats just a glimpse of life around this house.

The traditional uniform is heels, thigh highs, no panties, skirt (usually short and black), silky blouse (usually sheer) with a dark colored or no bra, completely shaved below the neckline and long flowing hair from the head.

But there's no universal standard. I find personally when in "public" places like a hiking trail, heels and stockings just don't mix.

A lot depends on what we are doing. If its a "vanilla" situation like going to the store then its eather a long leather skirt or a short skirt, her collar has and will never come off but its "tastefull" ( An Axmar) and many think its just a necklass.
Around the yard pants are allowed for working.
The main key is that regardless of where we are that she be totally accessable to me at all times.

Simple, I expect her to dress appropriately for the situation, unless I specify otherwise.

That means if we're going to the beach, wear a bathing suit and some street clothes over that.

If we're going to a 5 star resteraunt, evening wear is a appropriate

If we're shopping, casual clothing

If she's helping me on a job site... work clothes if she'll be getting her hands dirty, business attire if she's acting as my secretary.

If we're going to a munch, casual everyday clothes

If I'm taking her to bed... her collar and a smile.

Its my job to let her know what to expect.

A woman that cares how they look. Makeup'd and Dressed appropriately for the situation. Jeans and a T-shirt is just as inappropriate at a ball-room dance as an evening dress is while cutting the lawn. I also look for how they carry themself... do they walk like a person with cement shoes or do they carry themself with grace and pride of self. The latter is much prefered over the former.

When out in public I'm to look nice at all times. I’m not allowed to wear pants unless given special permission. So, I mostly only wear skirts and tops. No panties of course! If were going out somewhere nice I will wear garter and stockings with my heels. If it's casual like shopping then it's no stockings and comfortable shoes like sandals. Once I start college, he has informed me that I will dress "Business casual" Although, I will be allowed two pairs of nice dress pants in addition to my skirts. I plan to work more of those in once winter gets here. (pita hates being cold!)

Now, if were home I usually wear shorter skirts and tops, no bras or panties of course.

Simple. A lady in public, a totally horny chick in the house. I prefer those that I am with to dress for the event or occassion that they are attending or working on. The always in heels and hose, made up and always in a dress may work for some. But if the lady does other things she should dress the part.

It doesn't really matter what she wears, as long as she looks good. Which in her case, means it really doesn't matter what she wears, because she just plain looks good.

Ability to perambulate is always nice. Also I kind of prefer it when she doesnt drool or slobber when out fine dining. If she knows every other guy as "John" I tend to shy away from that trait.

hmm, i can't quite picture wearing that at the family picnic or a PTA meeting, although the dads there might not object....(and yes, i know you also qualified your remark and said there is no universal standard)

i am expected to look presentable and dressed for the occasion.....hair done, make-up on....presenting an image that makes him proud....sometimes i see these frumpy women at places and wonder how their husband allowed them to leave the house looking like that.....

occasionally he will want to see me wearing a particular outfit but usually leaves it up to me to choose, knowing i will choose wisely....one look from him and i'll know that he approves....

Interesting question....in my opinion, my woman has to dress according to the ocassion, that is elegance....knowing when to dress all out and when to be sport-casual or casual. For example...it would be ridicoulous for her to wear high heels and pantyhose to a picnic...or to wear a t-shirt and cut out jeans to a company dinner....
However, I think a woman should always look gracious, make up on most ocassions, when going out in the evenings high heels and skirt is nice, I for some reason, hate flip-flops, find them tasteless unless if worn at the beach or backyard.

Casual and comfortable is the usual rule. I am expected to wear bra and panties that match, even if nobody is going to see them; he'll know, and that is enough. But over that, jeans, t-shirts, socks, and tennis shoes or field boots are the usual choices. This is also true in the house and around the farm. To save on the electric bill, we do not keep the house temperature warm enough to permit comfortable nudity, and I am hypersensitive to cold on my skin, so I'll head down into shockiness (think the polar opposite of heatstroke) if I get too cold. He takes the conditions of the household, the fact that we live on a farm and I have work I need to do, and the fact that we have four large, active dogs and four underfoot cats into consideration, and rescinded the rule about wearing long skirts in the house when it became apparent that the skirts were cat attractants.

I am expected to dress appropriately to the occasion. A recent fancy dinner out saw me in evening wear, with heels. Picking blackberries will see me dressed to protect myself against thorns and the stinging nettles that grow among the blackberry bushes. Nudity may be required in high summer, but not if the dogs are inside. Nudity *is* required in bed, all year 'round.

I look like 'me.' I may look a bit younger some days, or more 'mature' or my age, but I always look like me. Who else am I suppose to look like??

Seriously, who am I suppose to look like in public?? I look like me all the time, a burned and having a bad allergic reaction me right now, but I still look like me {looks in mirror}, yup, still look like lil ole me. Guess that will have to do.
