As I say with other things. Just because it's not my kink, doesn't mean it can't be yours. With that said. I don't get it. There are lots of things I don't get. Whether it is because of age or experience, or the fact that I just analyze things too much. Who knows? But I will agree with Greedy, NJ has kind of shown me what is thrilling about it. What makes it worthwhile to some. And that made me smile. I guess it's like someone approaching me going, "How can you be into rape? How can you be into ageplay?" and I explain it. The only problem I have with financial domination, is when someone gets HURT by it. Whether physically, emotionally, spiritually, etc. Whenever I see a Dominant demanding tribute, and then just takes the money and runs, that's when I get angry. Not if the Dominant is actually being a Dominant force for that submissive. My first friend on this site, whom I still love to pieces, was a Pro-Domme. She took tribute from her submissives that she collared, and expected payment. But she treated them with respect (to a fault I suppose!) and gave them love. That is the kind I don't mind. In my local community, there is a woman who is revered as a Mistress in the leatherman lifestyle. She was a Pro-Domme, and would give talks every month about BDSM. She had long hung up her Professional title, and just kept submissives, but she told us the pros and cons about it... I can't hate Professional Dominants. I just can't. I'll stand here and say, "well, that's just not my thing." and be done with it. But I won't vilify these people. Just won't. So like any other kink, if you don't like it, don't look. :) Just my $0.02
