The conservatives are the ones voting until AFTER the primaries. They're the ones he has to pass through to get to the general election. So right now, their opinion is more important.

As a card-carrying liberal, I also mind that he acted dishonorably.

Also, ex-wife number two has been saying this kind of stuff all along. I hadn't heard the tidbit about "open marriage" before though.

If all parties had agreed to his actions all along, who cares? He's a serial liar.Newt thinks he can preach about morals when he doeesn't have any.

Sorry, jimbo but Romney is the only one with a snowball's chance in hell of getting Obama moved out of the WH. Newt alientates too many people to pick up the necessary Independent vote and some hard core Righties will consider him "immoral" and stay away from the polls. (they damn sure won't vote for Obama)

Newt once asked Bob Dole "Why do people take an instant dislike to me" Dole looked him right in the eye and said "Saves time"

  Yeah, there's no way Obama can run on his dismal record or debate in the issue arena so he and his allies in the media will undoubtedly use personal shit like this to deflect.

  You don't get it.  When it comes down to it, it won't matter who is running against Obama. The choice could be Donald Duck or Daffy Duck vs Obama, Obama loses.
