farglebargle -> RE: Newt's campaign comes to an end (1/19/2012 1:50:49 PM)

Well, Newt's going to say the real issue was Clinton's lying under oath, which I suppose is Newt's way of saying that it's ok to lie to your WIFE as long as she hasn't put you in a position where you're under penalty of perjury. Which is the way of thinking which is piece-of-shit scumbag uses to justify his actions. I just wonder if the current-future-ex-mrs-gringrich realizes that he's lying to her just like he's lied to everyone else. Now, of course, he goes and offers Sarah Palin a quid-pro-quo in violation of TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 29 > § 599 § 599. Promise of appointment by candidate Whoever, being a candidate, directly or indirectly promises or pledges the appointment, or the use of his influence or support for the appointment of any person to any public or private position or employment, for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. Maybe when he gets out of "PMITA prison" he can get a gig on the radio...
