Question for female subs/slaves:

Which would you prefer?

1) A Master that is in excellent shape physically but is poor (earns less than $45,000/yr and lives in small shoddy dwelling)
or
2) A Master that is extremely overweight but wealthy (income > $200,000/yr and lives in the house of your dreams - whatever that maybe)

That's so black and white. Which do I have chemistry with? And what does it matter how much he makes? If a Master and I click and he needs help, sure, I'll find a way to lend a hand. It's not about appearance or how fat the wallet is.

I care much more about my Master's health than I do his wealth. In fact, I don't care about how much money he has at all, as long as he has enough that we are not suffering financially. So I would have to pick your first option. It is very important to me that my Master have his health, and obesity is an unhealthy thing.

first one. Sorry but I'm a physical person and so what I see first is what attracts me to a person and I'm just not into large men.

Assume all other factors are the same - i.e. the Master in both situations are the same person.

If it's all the same, then as my slave sisters have stated, the first.

Master K, to be honest, I feel uncomfortable with your scenario.  Partly because of your focus on just those two factors.  It makes me wonder if you're in great shape but feeling bad because you're poor (although an income of $40K per year is more then the average US HOUSEHOLD income) or if you earn a bunch but feel bad because you're out of shape.

The other reason is that you are looking at the current situation as being stable.  The Masters I have known would be taking steps to overcome their situation, so that part of the scenario would involve the likelihood of the Master changing things.  For example, there is a local Master who has had serious spinal issues.  By all rights, he should be confined to a wheelchair.  But he has a job that makes him work out throughout the day, and takes martial arts and is in much better shape than I am.

The first one. I value someone being in good health and I don't need money from anyone, I have my own thank you very much. I don't expect a free ride, I'd much rather have someone who cares about themselves enough to be healthy.

The immediate answer - Well, I'm a fitness freak, so if the person in scenario 1 were fit because they took good care of themselves in terms of how they ate, whether they worked out regularly or not, etc., I would likely lean towards the first. But then, I am also financially capable of looking after myself. I do not know how I would feel, for example, if I were a divorced woman with children. Maybe fitness would not be the only thing I would be looking for in that instance.

The other answer - Obviously, no one can be reduced to two factors. So, as many have already stated, it is rarely a choice between two identical people who only differ on these two dimensions. Attraction is one component, but what keeps a couple together and stable involves many, many things. I think it is naive to think that looks don't matter, but it is also naive to think that money doesn't matter either. The number one thing that most couples argue about is financial matters.

In an ideal world we like to think love conquers all. But I see a lot of young lithe blonde women (sorry, but they are almost always blonde) on the arms of heavy men old enough to be their fathers. Is there any doubt in anyone's mind what that exchange is about? (Oh, of course, they find each other so "fascinating" as human beings). There is romantic ideal; and then there is the reality.

So why not turn it around and ask men if they would choose a female sub/slave who was

1) built like a Victoria's Secret model but a bitch
2) extremely overweight but with a heart of gold

If you think women are shallow and only want money - let me tell you, most men would actually pick 1. I know because I see couples like this all the time. Men will put up with a lot if it comes in a sexy package. So how are men any more "pure" or "deep" when it comes to picking women? Money is to many women what sexy looks are to men. This is simply a sad reality of life. I am NOT endorsing this. Simply pointing out what I see. I think it is rooted in evolutionary biology, but still, this is how it plays out.

I'm still trying to figure out why you think $45K is poor.

I've dated guys making minimum wage, my ex Dominant is a multi-millionaire, I dated an overweight guy that's a VP of a radio network, I married a man that runs an auto repair shop. Money did not matter to me and while I care about health.....I care more about who that person is.

You seem to be hung up on looks and income. Just because you're hung on that doesn't mean that all women use that as criteria.

I'm, personally, attracted to intelligent, ambitious men. I don't really care if they are buff, or rich, or poor, or overweight (I may have a problem with an obese man, just because of the physical limitations that may impact my life, but not with a simply overweight guy). I am interested in a man who has a passion and has successfully pursued it. Usually, though not always, the smart and successful guys make a decent chunk of change, so I'd go with guy #2. Not because I need the money, but because it indicates that the gentlemen is moving up in the world. Then again, New York City garbage men make more than some doctors, so it still isn't even close to a fair comparison, but its the best I could do given the shallow scenario you've presented.

The second because he has the money to hire a private trainer, a nutritionist, etc and change things. And presuming he earned the money instead of winning the lottery, he would have the intelligence to realize that changing things would be a good thing.

I agree, your scenario is too black and white. I like men who are passionate about something in their lives, that something is often work. Is the 200k guy lazy, and simply inherited his money? Does he sit in front of the TV all day, and talk about nothing but what was on the daytime talk shows?
Does the 45k guy have fascinating work that he loves and that does some good in the world? Does he attack it with gusto and do it well?
Or vice versa? See, too black and white

Oh, no, only $45k! The horror!

As long as they're financial stable and responsible, I'm really not fussed about the money. And even that's not because I'm a gold digger or whatever, lol, but because I wouldn't want a financially irresponsible person to have involvement in my finances. And, honestly because I like to be financially comfortable to some degree - I don't care about a big house or a fancy car, but I'd rather not be supporting some Dom/me while living with them in their mom's basement, you know?

At the same time, I'm also not that hung up on looks either. I mean, I prefer to be with someone that's trying to be responsible about their health and is decent looking, but they don't have to be a supermodel or bodybuilder. Hell, I tend to find that kind of be unattractive - I prefer somebody that takes care of themselves but looks like a normal person. A good personality and sense of humor and a nice smile are really much more important than muscles.

So A, I guess, if those are my only choices, but I'd have to choose C) Has a job, isn't up to their eyeballs in debt, is decent looking, interesting, responsible and has a good sense of humor.
