Provided it stays within the realm of civility, most dont get reported.

Thanks, and yeah, the anybody-who-can-beat-Obama has been the 'message' that the rightwing have been pounding into their 'base' voting-blocs' consciousness ever since they were stunned by Palin crashing McCain's outside chance at winning. It's been sort of funny in a sad way to watch Mitt and Newt trying to out I'm-the-only-chance-to-beat-Obama each other.

Steven's take on matters seems on-target: Paul will keep landing low percents, but unless Mitt or Newt shoot themselves in the foot in more dramatic style than so far, Santorum seems unlikely to take anything not bible-belt states.

It might be Mitt or Newt on the first go ...

No doubt. I just find it interesting that some are more concerned with who can win a fight as opposed to who would be best for the country.

I know ... the left wants civility and compassion from their opponents ... but singularly fails to extend it.

If a Republican gets suckered by the false front of "civility" extended by the Dems again, then they won't "fight": it's to uncivilized, yanno. [8|]  And they will lose, even if they win.

Channeling Patton a little bit here ... A man who won't fight, can't lead.  And we need a leader and a fighter.

Really?

Can you give us some examples of President Obama`s uncivil comments or actions?

Three or four would be easy if what you say is true.

Serious examples please.

Could it be Ron Paul's "turn" to win a state?
I'd like to see Ron Paul win the nomination but it doesnt really matter, whoever wins the nomination will be the next president.

government BY the people.....that COULD be funny. we are being governed ( both our countries) by people who wouldn't know what a hard days work was if it jumped up and bit them. all our mob are lawyers (and liars) and big landholders and people who were born with a silver shovel jammed up their ass. Even Honest Abe was a Lawyer but shit, he begasn as a rail splitter. What have the rest got to offer as far as work experience goes ?

It's coming. I just found out some good info tonight. It's part of his plan to drag this out. He's already in place and has been for the last four years working on this campaign. Combine that with what I just found out. He's in a much better position than I originally thought.

As a matter of fact, he has two plans in place. I think it's going to work out fine.

I hear Republicans are going to let Obama win in November to lull the Democrats into a false sense of security.

They're crafty devils!

The republicans won't have a choice if they don't back Paul.

Don't worry though, Obama will get his. You keep on backing him though and disregard what he's doing.

I agree Icarys, which is why I would bet on Obama these days.
Either the republicans nominate Paul (and they win) or they nominate anyone else.
If they nominate anyone else, Gary Johnson runs as a libertarian, gets many of the disaffected Paul supporters and hands the election to Obama.
Since I don't think the republicans will nominate Paul that means a win for Obama.

I know Paul is organized in the caucus states but which states do you  think he will win, Icarys?

I am CERTAIN Paul WON"T go third party; hes been there done that, knows the deck is stacked to make it IMPOSSIBLE to win and is too old to make gestures (and make enemies that his son will have to live with down the road).

What's he done that wasn't 100% on the Corporate agenda he's mandated to follow?

In case you didn't notice DISNEY just threw Obama a little campaign party on Main St. USA.

Sometimes, I think thats what they're doing. Either that or the RNC is the stupidest, most out of touch bunch of people to ever exist.

His plan has been about delegates. I really don't want to say much more than that. (I know what people are thinking.. That's what everyone's plan is..of course but there is a twist)  :) and it's brilliant.

Suffice to say he has a very good plan in place and I mean a very good one and from what I've just learned, his chances just got a big boost. Actually, it was that way from the start, it's just been kept quite.

I think he'll do very well in western states. Texas, California and so on. California has 178 delegates I believe and I think they run caucus as well.

You are in error; I certainly neither back him nor disregard what he's doing.

I also don't think he's the anti-Christ, and the impression you have is from my responses to the over the top nonsense others post.

It wasnt lost on everyone. Last time, they tossed the election by who they chose as VP. This time, I dont really see any true support behind any GOP candidate by the RNC.

Cant blame them. Wait another 4 years, then put someone up that could really rally the party... after all the hard work is done.

"Join me this year. Choose life."

Cmon, they have been in politics HOW Long?
And they dont know how to get their names on virginias ballot? how incompetent ....even with rule changes, something stinks higher than week old roadkill
I wish some of them would claim reality and not atttempt the biggest lie since "Mission accomplished"
