Yes, because I am sure that using the "LaMalinche defense" would work about as well as "The Twinkee Defense."

Although you would likely find a Dom in prison.

LOL and ewwwww.

Rumtiger, as the others have said, just ignore her if she bothers you. Don't giver her power over you and the ability to enjoy life.

my response was based on the many other responses which immediately took a one-sided view.  Even if the person is 'horrible', it still takes 2 to tango.

She was a horrible person mainly for the things she did out of the lifestyle, stuff she did when I wasent around, and the kind of character she was. These are all things unrelated to the things that where done to me, and taken alone show what kind of person she was.

And by the way, i'd play as skins too.

You mull it over and let it go.  Act polite and mature and like casual strangers.

Brosco:
The point isnt about our (the readers) perspective on which one of them is responsible for the feelings that they each left the relationship with.  The focus of the question was Rumtiger asking how he should deal with *the presence* of someone that *he* deems horrible.  Therefore everyone answered in a way that advised him on how to cope or deal with this person being on the same site as he.   And as long as it's his post and his question, his opinion of the person is not out of line.   If the person is horrible to *him*, then anyone who wants to offer advise to him would have to operate from the assumption that he is correct, in order to make suggestions of how he can deal with this.

I have known a few like this.  Showing one thing to one person, another to a second and something completely different to the rest of the world.  Frustrating as all hell to deal with, but she's the one that will eventually end up crashing and burning when someone returns the favor to her.  Buy marshmallows and wait.  It's inevitable, since the harder a secret is to conceal, the harder it is to live with the aftermath of the revelation later down the road.

I understand one of the first people I was briefly involved with is now on C-me. The first time his nick came up I was really upset. But you know, he's never contacted me, doesn't do anything on the boards, and I don't have to deal with him at all. If he were to contact me he would be the first person I would refuse to answer and put on block. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't exist anymore.

There is a remote possibility that I may run into him at a real -life event. If so, I have plenty of friends around who know me well enough that I would be protected if he should try to start something. I don't think he would fare well with any of them.

But the best thing is to pretend someone doesn't exist, especially in real time. There's nothing worse than to be completely unacknowledged or forgotten. Even if they aren't, you can act like they are. IMO that's the best revenge. They were of so little real significance in your life (true or not) that they no longer exist for you. Pisses them off big time and pleases the heck out of me. My own subtle form of revenge.

Rum, I am sorry for your pain.  However, I have grown siblings that are evil, mean bastards and unfortunately they keep showing up.  They are usually PIAs for everyone involved and consequently my pain is shared.

On holidays, I usually am the first one to run for the popcorn.

In all seriousness though, perhaps you could send her a picture of you eating popcorn and tell her you are dying to watch her make a fool of herself here.  Even invite her on the message boards.  You could even email us (privately of course) her screen name and we will torment her by sending her one line messages!

Enjoy your freedom.  You are in a different place.

Unless they don't give two figs what you do, but it's a fairly decent theory.

I truly believe that issues from the past which remain unresolved can be very damaging. Being able to face your demons now you perhaps feel stronger about them or understand them better can be quite healthy therapy. With hindsight and time to think i usually find that i see things clearer and am able to understand the other persons point of view better.
Maybe you should give these people / this person the opportunity to make amends or at least justify, explain their behaviour towards you. If you don't like thier responses or feel unable to move forward with the issues then of course you can then choose to block them.

Rah.. gonna go on an own thing here - )  Couple of months ago, had a blast from the past.  Maybe longer then a couple of months, who knows.  Master says His slave shouldnt look for others from teh past.. but eh what does he know (sarcasm here)

Found this slave's FIRST love, damn it.  The guy that got lost over in Hong kong, havent spoken to in 10 years, the reason there is chinese charators tatted on the arm.. the reason that specifically "the moon" is tatted on her arm.  The man she was gonna marry, lived with at 16.. <sigh> the man she was gonna name her first born after.. the man who she told that on ever Saturday night at midnight, to look up at the moon and no matter were we were we'd always be together.

Ran into him via myspace!  How about that.  one knew that, one day, most likely via the net she would find him.  Damn it was tragic.  His ex wife started talking to this slave... whew all down hill.  Some how he went from being a gem among rocks, a knight in shining armor to a loser.  He's literally pyschotic.  Chases his ex down, breaks her windows, does drugs, used to beat her up.  Terrible aye?  God DAMN brits!

Moral of the story is.. leave the past in the past.  God knows what you'll find.  Luckily it was already a bad experience for you.. so its nothing to be shattered.  Surely tho it could get worse tho - )  Raaaaaaaaaaaah  Bastards.  any who..

Rah and of COURSE the damn brit disappeared again!  God damn men.  Swear to God gonna find hiim again and THIS time give him a piece of ones mind.  hrrrrrrrrrmp

bastards

That doesnt work either.  Have another "past"  (actually got several ya know) that every time one talks to HIM he apologizes over and over and asks if this one hates him.  Which she doesnt talk to him but once in a blue moon.. just when she needs something.. that she doesnt know what it is, nor can put a finger on it.. but talking to him fills it...

Doesnt change nothing about the past though.  The past is the past and it will always be the past.  nothing changes it.  All you can do is change how you feel about it.  Nothing anyone else can do can change that.

Cept unless of course, break your 16 year old heart (that you thought was gone anyways.. destroying your last bit of innocence you didnt think you had) and end up a total loser 10 years later.

Still!  Keep looking!  theres like a million ppl out there that this slave is stilllllll searching for.  Found three childhood friends - )  that went well.  Now if one could just find those that asked her never to forget them.....

Hey Rumtiger hold your head high, stand tall and rise above it. After all it is in the past. It is not like they just got a job where you work and you have to sit next to them and look at them all day. Put the past behind you and let your current spirits fly high.

I feel bad that this happened to you, rumtiger.  Although it does sound to me, from what you posted, Rumtiger, that there is still a part of you which feels connected to these Mistresses.

You will be haunted by it until you let it go.  It will haunt your future relationships until you let it go.

Perhaps the time has come to move on.

I personally dont waste my time blocking people.  I feel that any action at all is giving the other person power over my actions and feelings.

Good luck,

Sinergy

Rum, grab your stake and cross and be prepared.

Seriously though, too many people around her love you and like you way too much to let her disparage your character. You have proven yourself post after post to this community that your good people. Just hit block and let's keep doing things the way we have since you joined.
