When I first came to CM, I ran across a friend from my chat days. Back then we developed a platonic friendship via e mail, phone and IM. Similarly to you, as time went on, things came out and he was not a person whom I cared to be associated with. So it was a little unsettling to see his name here.

LA gave good advice : You mull it over and let it go. Act polite and mature and like casual strangers.

I did contact him here at CM, sent him a polite e mail, stating that I was quite able to
co habit the same message board without having any direct interaction with him and asked if he were able to do the same. He responded with one word " yes". That has been the end of it. We participate on this site in a parrallel manner, never crossing over each other.

That doesnt work either. Have another "past" (actually got several ya know) that every time one talks to HIM he apologizes over and over and asks if this one hates him. Of course it is possible that what worx for one doesn't always work for another. Thats why i said maybe, hey i found retalking worked past issues out for me.

i never have any truck with exs. i will escalate my conduct -- including involving the police -- to maintain that peacefulness. As T/they say, "T/they're called 'exs' for a reason."

Remember what a pal "block" can be.
