You're basically saying what you hate other people saying.

Subs aren't "the ones" with the power.  EVERYONE in a relationship agrees to be in the relationship and everyone can leave.

I can understand the word brat in your nic. However unless you have never learned and even better still experienced the Gorean Lifestyle or tried to understandit's precepts or ohilodophy then you are doning nothing but displaying grose ignorance by making such comments. I have a questuion for you... Do you feel the same thing about Christianity? After all it is based upon what is virtually folk law and it's books were written well after the fact and at the best are the writings of an oral teaching which by that fact alone can not be accurate. (No attack on Christianity here I'm just stating fact and yes I hold that religion highly although it is not my religion).

Wait, aren't you the same person who started a thread just this morning stating that you have lived a very sheltered life, still live with your parents, had very little real time experience and were looking for suggestions on how to break into the life?

Then you come on and make sweeping generalizations about an entire group of people like you are a qualified expert on the subject?

I don't think that IronBear was referring to you stating your opinion as being bratty....I think he was referring to HOW you stated your opinion.

Then girl you know nothing. Unless you have spent time with those of us who live a Gorean lifestyle and niot play at it but live it you have no base for your opinions. I do suggest you contact some of the kajirae who live the Gorean lifestyle to gain some education before you make such wildly inaccurate statements....I'm done with you.

I think it's a great real life example of what we mean about people in the scene being just as judgemental, uncool and quick to tell people they are wrong and bad as anyone else.

Oh man, I hate when submissives actually think they have the right to get married to their Dominants and bear their Dominant’s children! If anything, Dominants are better than them. We’re the ones who CHOOSE our subs. I hate when people want their Dominants to take authority, and expect us to spank other people and discipline them. Honestly, submissives who want marriage and family is such idiotic bull. It’s based on stereotypes of the 1950’s, NOT reality. No Dominants should be treated like a sperm donator and free parent for a subbie’s mothering instincts. I can’t even express how much submissive mothers piss me off. I tried parenting a sub’s kids once. I hated it. It was bullshit and nothing more than a way of a neglectful mother passing her burdens on to her Dominant. They aren’t real parents if they need a Dominant to settle in with a family. It’s all role-playing "house"

But don’t take offense. It was just me saying what I don’t like. I wasn’t making an overgeneralized statement about people who put on their profile that they are looking for a Dominant to father their babies and start families.

/removes tongue from cheek

It never ceases to amaze me when people feel so free to heatedly insult others interests just because it isn’t their personal cup o tea.
*throws some more kudos to IB for his ever ongoing patience with people who don't understand, dislike, or insult his way of life*

Well they certainly don't seem to place a higher expectation on spell checking or proof reading!!!

*wink*
