There is more than likely no point in my doing this, but....I really sort of wish this had stayed on topic(if there really was one) I (for reasons I can not explain) really do want to know if the OP wanted to hear people insult pro or if he was wanting someone to explain them. I admit it I had a deep, sort of, thought that I wanted to share.

Well it really is about the whole pro domme thing. A lot of people doesn't seem to get it...which is cool and all but...I don't get why no one just asks what it is really about(from both sides) How hard is asking someone why they do something. Like the whole findom thread. I get why Blush's wouldn't give up her tricks because it would be bad for biz, but that isn't how pro domming works. There is no reason that pro dommes can't say why they do it. Explain it to people like the OP. Or am I giving people to much credit for really wanting to know?

It's the presence of filthy lucre in an interpersonal exchange.

I've known women whose boyfriends have turned sex into something transactional. They hated it. ProDomming turns kink into a transactional exchange. It's basically like prostitution in the sense that you're scratching an itch but doing so in a way which perpetually leaves you unsatisfied and wanting more since you're not actually building anything with a future. ProDomming leverages kink and psychological weaknesses built into every individual to turn a human being into a stream of cash. It's as cynical as any gold-digger since ultimately the guy would always be better off either going out and finding the type of woman he wanted or building himself into the kind of man who could naturally attract such a woman.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen similar things. I once read a poker manual which described how to set up a set of weekly poker games (one on every day) and win just enough to keep the suckers coming back every week for years. It was one of the most cynical, amoral books I've ever read, but at least it had the virtue about being up front and honest about it. Every time I see a ProDomme claim they're just providing a service, I roll my eyes at the charade.

Basically, the reason they don't talk about it, is because deep down they know exactly what they're doing. And if they have a shred of decency, part of them is ashamed.

Oh, and the suggestion that you have secret techniques is all part of the advertising. A ProDomme never forgets that every post has the potential to suck in more clients.

I thank you for your opinion, Awareness. Though I disagree. I think they don't talk about it for more than just one reason.

Every time I see you post something on this topic I think the same thing...he wants the world to change...which would be great but I don't see it happening any time soon. I do want to ask you something though. If what is wrong with it is being shallow(greed) would you say the same people that "play" when they are not in (real) realationships are just as bad. Think of those guys that some people call dawgs or players if you want you to know what I mean. Or in your opinion is it just because there is money involved?

Make a note that I am not trying to turn this into a way of defending why people do anything that they do. I just have a different point of view. As I still pro dom from time to time I have always felt that....this isn't going to sound nice...I don't pro for the cash. I like to play. I'm a sadist, I like to hurt people. But I don't get paid just to play to someone else's kink, I get paid to fight my own. If someone wants to pay me because he calls himself a pain slut(or whatever) that is fine but to be honest what he is paying me for is what I don't do. Which is show up with a bat and see how many bones I can break in an hour. If same said guy was up for being a better man. Or letting me do what I want(though it might put his life in danger) I'd be all up for that too. And I would do it for free.

As for that last part.....the secrets thing was only for Blush's findom comments on the other thread. And if you think I post things here in hopes of finding clients you are nutty. If I were wanting that to happen I would be a lot more careful about some of the things I say here.

I was purposely vague in order to start a dialog with little influence from me. I really wanted to posters to be freer to post their thoughts without my influence. Looking back I don’t think it really worked out well. I have not had any dealings with ProDommes, at least r/t. I believe each PD does it for different reasons that are unique to Her situation and experience in life. I personal don’t have a problem with the idea of pro domination, but I would want to know Her reason and select One whose ideals match mine.
