ORIGINAL: Owner59 Just the fact that cons must explain/defend their lack of support amongst the public by claiming a media bias is proof positive of their desperation and intellectual dishonesty. They even have their own media outlet and still can`t get any traction. Great tact Hill, asking for the same info to be put in "un biased, fair and balanced" fux news form. Which seems to be impossible, demonstrating better than eight pages of text how lame the "media bias" claim really is. Well, while you aren't talking to me about it, I hope you don't mind me responding. First, that particular article isn't necessarily an "egregious" example of bias. It's pretty normal, in fact. Unfortunately. If you swim in the same belief system, it even looks perfectly fine, and you can certainly shake your head and wonder what all the fuss is about. I get that. Perhaps he could have given several examples, different articles, and make a better case. But he didn't, and it still doesn't mean that his point is incorrect. I could write generally the same article several ways, if I wanted to take the time. One way, I could reinforce the "point" even more. In another I could make fun of it. Both would be "accurate", but both would be written to reinforce a particular point of view and belief system. Straight reporting is pretty difficult for most reporters nowadays. They also "swim in the waters" and believe what they write is perfectly "fair and balanced". Firm
