I guess I owe all of you an apology,I have been up and down a few times on this thread.
But what you guys are getting here is just a sample of the roller coaster ride I have been on.
I am once again so very fucking happy.
This isn't 24/7 and doesn't really hold any possibility of being so,but as I think about it I don't know if I am built for 24/7 anyway.
I was a horrible husband,so whose to say I wouldn't be a horrible 24/7 slave....
I have post surgeries fashioned out a nice life for myself,would I really want to give all that up ?
Would I really want to make someone else my #1 priority 24/7...give up my golf,give up all my down time where I just watch tv,read a book?
I don't think so,24/7 is like a nice picture in my head...but if I was actually in the picture it would be marred beyond repair....lol
As it is I find myself thinking about Her all day long,the wishing I could be with Her is probably better than the reality.
She still controls aspects of my life completley and fully,all the while She is free to go about Her business and I am free to enjoy the little things that make my life bearable...the best of both worlds.
Almost 6 ,been up since 9...and I just smoked my 5th cigarette....She has sent me texts telling me of Her pride in me for the cutting down.
I replied that since I was doing so well maybe we could just forget about the whole rice thing....lol
That didn't work so well.....lol

Bita,that is a freebie,She already watched me on rice one evening in a hotel room...She knows i hate the damm shit(here's a secret,it's the actual kneeling that kills me,there could be down pillows underneath my knees...lol)I can not maintain the position....but according to our agreement I have already bought 25 minutes(and we all know I have,at the least,3 or 4 more cigarettes in me)
Now this will be done alone in my room...and I can,should I choose just mail it in,send a text saying how horrible it all was and go to bed.
I could also cheat when I play golf,write down par for every damm hole...whose to know....duh,me ,that's who.
So i will be on rice from 11:30 till at the least 12:15 or so...all alone,naked and in agony...who needs 24/7 ....lol.

I just read the whole thread for the first time, and i just wanted to tell you i find your story (and you telling it) very moving and touching (

my eyes? no no..it's my...allergies..). It leaves me a bit envious and dreaming of better days for myself. You've been patient, so will i be.
Although we don't know each other, i can feel through your posts that you truly deserve all the good things happening to you.

I'm a pack a day smoker,but I hate this whole kneel on rice thing.Now each cigarette costs me 5 minutes on the rice.
Result for the first day....8 cigarettes,so I'm about to get naked ,set my phone for 40 minutes and kneel on fucking rice....grrrrrrr.
Ain't slavery grand

It's 8:50 here,been up since 7:30,ran some errands walked the dog etc..etc,what I haven't done yet,and won't do till about 9ish is smoke a cigarette.
Yesterday I went out on the golf course and played 9 holes,left the cigarettes home.Now the golf course is one of those places where I turn into a freaken chimney...it just happens,I light up a cigarette damm near every green.
So before I can make a real effort to quit,I need to learn that I can do the things I love,without a cigarette dangling between my lips.
Today is 18 holes.....no cigarettes.Less time on rice,and hopefully another"proud of you monk" text

p.s Bita what don't monk's do,or at least they aren't supposed too ;-)

I "love" my Domme,I don't even care that She told me "love" wasn't allowed.
I just played my first ever smoke free round of golf,it is 3:08,I've been up since 7:30....walked the dog and smoked my3rd(count'em 3....lol) cogarette.
I am going to slowly but surely convince myself that I can enjoy the things I love without a damm cigarette dangling from my lips.

So,I just smoked my sixth cigarette,I will have another putting me at 7 and 35 minutes of rice time.
I figure,given a quit day of May 7th(by previous agreement between my Domme and i) I can ride 7 for two weeks,go down to 6 than...and so on and so forth.
Now something Tazzy said to me over in P and R is ringing in my ears,my behavior is now a reflection of my Domme,since I asked Her to help me with thsi,and Sge chose the method of that help....well my quitting actually reflects on Her and Her methods.
Failure this time means more than just me continuing this filthy habit....it means failing My Domme.
Now that is something that no slave wants to do,particularly one who has searched as long as I and who thinks so highly of his Domme !
