I don't think too many read profiles. If they can't tell me about what is in my profile that tells that I didn'tt read it.

I think I am going to start deleting one liners and the ones that send messages like they r from some1 who doesn't know how type because are used to texting. I can read and comprehend better when the words are written out.

I actually get one liners from guys too. WTF?
There is nothing about me that would make it seem I'm interested in a guy.

But I'm pretty shy, and unless I see something in a profile that really jumps out at me, I feel like I would be being a nuisance if I send a message that doesn't have a really good "conversation starter".

Thats a tough deal on some of those girls, nothing really big to work with in their profiles, and you see a physical, or maybe a jenais sais quoi in their profile, which is a little beyond the grasp of explication, and ....damn hard to be clever 24/7/365....

I don't respond, and I really love when I ignore the first message, so they send a second message (or more) whining about me not responding. That's not really going to win me over.

Well, honestly, I have gotten a lot of e-mails as I am still new to the site. Also, I am collared, so anyone that tries to "pick me up" so to speak is ignored entirely. For others, I try to respond in a timely fashion, but some get lost in the shuffle. Most read my profile though, so it is not exactly the same.

I checked out POS's profile to see what the fuss was all about and I really don't get it. She's got some nice body shots and a couple pics of her booty and her cleavage. How is she leading with sex? Its not like she's naked or has her toy collection on display. I've seen far worse in terms of 'leading with sex' on this site.

I try to be nice. I say hello, and thank them for any compliments they give me. I also answer all questions that I'm asked - but they may not like the answer. Sure, sometimes I'm a bit snarky, but that's not too often.

I see one liners and ones not reading my profile as two different things.
1) One liners are usually boring and give me nothing to talk about, so I choose to either read their profile and respond or else just delete and report as spam.
2) As for not reading my profile...there is a big difference between not having looked at my complete profile, where my button lights up red, or possily finding my name on the home page and reading my profile and most of my journal entries. I won't delete and report someone for sending me a letter without having made my red button light up. Someone could even click the button for complete profile just to be seen as having lit it up, while not bothering to read anything... Their note could mention something from my profile or journal entry, and unless someone has done this then I doubt my profile was read.

I am usually polite, cuz they might be new or just dumbasses who need a clue. On rare occasions I'm a bit "rude" and just use the delete and report as spam feature.

Blocking is saved for those who behave like complete asses. Of course, some of those in that category will keep making new profiles for a while just so they can drop a nastygram or two into my mailbox...hovering the mouse, to read enough to find out, and then deleting the letter unread usually works after a few times.

LOL! Glad it's you this time instead of me or mine.

Months back, I was sleeping and my boy left a post here...and it showed up under my username. Later that day or weekend, I did the same thing. Now I know to sign out from both sides of CollarMe.

If you sign out from just one side, your name can be at the top of the page as logged in and yet your post will be from the person who was logged in before.
