I keep hearing the word "tragedy" tossed around,on the net,and on tv...I take some issue with that. If we are to presume that her addictions played a part in this,a rather safe assumption I think, than I am not sure I agree with the characterization of this as a tragedy. Allow me to explain,I had a younger brother,14 months younger,we were, what is known as Irish twins....lol,anyway he died at the age of 34 from leukemia. He fought with everything at his disposal for his life, every medical avenue that he could afford/had access to was tried...till the disease won out.Now take Whitney, even if we grant the addiction is also a disease...can we really make the case that she fought with every fiber of her being to live ? I think not. So we have my brothers death, private but certainly a tragedy to those of us who loved him,now contrast that with this event....and I come up with....waste. Plain and simple waste, perhaps even tragic waste....but not a tragedy, this by everything we know shouldn't have happened, and yet it was allowed,by Whitney herself to happen.....That my friends is waste.
