I have a soft spot for Christopher Eccleston -- he was all brooding and deep. =p

The great thing is that Tom Baker can win this poll ten times...

He was definitely a lot better than David Tennant: it's always nice to see an alien frightening Doctor for a change...

I would SO do Christopher Eccleston...*purrrrrrrrrrr*

Although Tom Baker is a close second.

The new doctor is a fucktard(is), sadly.

I'm on my own with quite liking Matt Smith, then...

He's not Tom Baker, but Tom Baker will always be The Doctor, and I think Matt Smith is doing a great job. Much better than Tennant imo, anyway...

Bloody kids' telly presenter on speed a lot of the time.
(It's a shame, because he could put in a bit of gravitas when he was given the material to work with, but the production team seemed to prefer having him him camp about rather than putting in a nastily authoratative performance like Family Of Blood...)

I freely admit when The Hot Chris Eccleston signed on, I pretty much moaned through every episode. Shameless lust. Then that little sexpot Tennant? Well.

I am okay with Smith, he took some getting used to, but he's okay. Not nearly ginger enough of course.

Worst Doctor ever, in the history of all time: Colin Baker.

I liked all of the new actors (Eccleston, Tennant, Smith), although Tom Baker remains my favorite. Personally, I think that each actor and the unique way they portrayed The Doctor's individual yet collective persona is a major part of what made the series so entertaining over the years. I really enjoyed the return of the series, and how the character development and story lines played out. I was disappointed that Christopher Eccleston was only around for one season.

Supposedly, he had problems with the production team.

A man after my own heart. Tom Baker of course. Now my oldest has just started watching and she loves the new Doctor but he doesn't do anything for me.

Best sidekick? K-9 of course hands (paws?) down.

Tom Baker is the best and he had the best companions(another poll!)
I like Eccleston and I think he brought a edgy vibe to the role.
I liked David Tennant pretty much and prefer him to
the current.
I have warmed up to Smith a bit but my first reaction
was he was a horrible choice. I think to some of his
episodes haven't done much for me whereas I loved
many of the plots and guest stars on many of the
Tennant episodes.
I think one of those guest stars, John Simms might
have made a good doctor.
Also, remember that one off movie with Paul
McGann playing the doctor? The movie lousy but
I thought McGann did a serviceable job, he's
a good actor IMO .

My all time favourite is Jon Pertwee.
Second is David Tennant,( yes I find him hot too,his real accent makes me fizzy inside
Third is Chris Ecleston, *gawd he is hot,* and i loved him in "Cracker"
with Tom Baker not far behind, altho not for hotness... he was just bonkers enough with those eyes:) He reminded me of an old teacher I had that was batshit bonkers, I also liked TOm in the "she devil"... he was a bit batty in that one too
