As to the AFR...if they want to listen to "that lousy entertainer with the ethics of a pig" then that is their right. I have a really hard time with telling a soldier you are old enough to go out and die for our country but too stupid to be allowed to pick who you want listen to on the radio.



Just how exactly does a soldier pick what they listen to on afr?
What input do the troops have concerning what afr broadcasts?

Lets see... despite my posting record on limpdick...my word has been questioned by William and now you decide I can't use we on a thread that wants what I want.

You need to stop judging me from opinion rather then facts.

Just this ... Given that Limbaugh is nearly always a negatively themed presentation the minute he gets on any monologue about the current govt and particularly the rez... Can you picture yourself in a combat zone "enjoying" or "entertained" by his broadcast? My thinking. and I will candidly admit that I never served... is that nobody benefits from hearing an endless bummer about the Commander In Chief while in harm's way. Anyway interested in how you look at this.

Well. you tell us the facts previously reported are what? Not what happened? And you want your opinion embossed over ours cause it's what time to resign cause AN advertiser didn't leave? That's just silly. "WE" aren't being unrealistic at all "WE" are just warming up. And yahoo. is full of spin the way it frequently is. Limbaugh is in hot water period. And as long as Women want company in taking their stand against him. I'n there. I won't bail and I certainly won't talk to them as if they have climbed out on some ledge. FACTUALLY? The guy has lost affiliates, many sponsors and has cost if not several (heard something I am still looking for independent confirmation of), at least one corporation the a prime share price. and there is only a claim out there that listener-ship is doing anything besides going down. I know of 2 workplaces in Boston and Cambridge where workplace memos have gone out that say basically "Due to content issues, ... " Rush can no longer be played aloud. ... So what you said is not what "WE" think.
I'm glad we're looking for similar results.

He's newsworthy. He generates listeners and revenues. Petition Clear Channel? Tell me another joke, please, because they only care if they can get advertisers.

Beat his advertisers into the dirt. He had more than a minute of dead air the other day, because they left. Beat them down, let them know that them supporting his program will negatively impact their business. Make them lose money, because it's the only way they hurt.

Ensure that companies who advertise on his programs KNOW the price they pay. That you will not shop there, or even look. That you'll go to their competitors, who do not support that disgraceful stain on humanity.

That's so much better. You don't get him fired. You get everyone to repudiate him.

OK, that's enough playing with the troll.

As far as the petition goes, no. I don't agree with it. Its a form of censorship. Rush says many hateful things, but if I want to have the right to speak my mind, I have to allow him to as well. This petition is simply an attempt to prevent views that don't conform with your own from being heard, and I won't support it. In fact I'll oppose it strictly on principle.
