ORIGINAL: MasterSlaveLA 1) Expecting people to pay for their OWN contraception for their OWN sex lives is not a "war on women" -- that's called PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Once again, Libs/Left are lying about this being a "health" issue of any kind. If healthcare really were about personal responsibility then why does health insurance cover accidents due to carelessness Hint: People PAY for health insurance for the ability to make that choice -- was this not obvious to you... that health insurance ISN'T FREE, like the FREE shit Sandra Fuck, and MadCow are advocating?!! quote:
...why are sexually transmitted diseases covered Hint: Is your own use of the word "disease" too complicated for you to understand, and again... people PAY for health insurance, it's not FREE. quote:
...why are many cancers covered Hint: Is your own use of the word "cancer" too complicated for you to understand (pssst... "cancer" is a DISEASE), and again... people PAY for health insurance, it's not FREE. quote:
...why are all the health issues related to weight covered Hint: Is your own use of the words "health issues" too complicated for you to understand (pssst... "health issues" implies a HEALTH RISK -- there's no "health risk" if one does not use contraception... or maybe YOU consider pregnancy a DISEASE?!!), and again... people PAY for health insurance, it's not FREE. [8|] Yes so people PAY for health insurance. Oral contraceptives must be prescribed by doctors. So, by your own admission, people aren't getting anything for FREE to have oral contraception covered. So what is your argument, exactly????? Then why not cover oral contraceptives???? It is you who don't understand even your own argument. You are complaining that women should have to cover their own costs for contraception, but you readily admit that people PAY for insurance. Yes, hello. That is what all of us have been saying all along. There is NO reason to carve out contraception. So maybe you can try this again. What exactly is your rationale for carving out oral contraception? Because your own argument does NOT support your position. And to consider pregnancy to NOT be a health risk. Again, what planet are you on???? The risks from pregnancy and childbirth to both children and women STILL exist in this world. Pregnancy and child birth are not 100% risk free. So again, your argument doesn't hold at all. Nice effort, but WRONG, nonetheless.
