Erectile dysfunction is God's divine plan for taking the weak out of the procreation cycle, it is unnatural to interfere with God's plan of keeping men from procreating who God has selected as no longer viable to reproduce based on the inability to obtain and maintain an erection. The Holy Bible speaks clearly of men in advanced age being able to procreate if it is to serve God's ultimate purpose.

Turner is one of several female Democratic state lawmakers who are wielding the power of sarcasm to protest a wave of anti-abortion legislation.

In January, Virginia state Sen. Janet Howell introduced an amendment to the state's controversial ultrasound bill, which required women seeking abortions to first undergo a vaginal ultrasound. The amendment, which failed, said that all men seeking Viagra would have to first get a rectal exam. The ultrasound bill passed after Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell successfully requested that the vaginal ultrasound requirement be removed. Women seeking abortions will still have to receive an external ultrasound under the new bill.

Earlier this month, Illinois state Rep. Kelly Cassidy introduced an amendment to another bill that would require women to get ultrasounds before being allowed to get abortions. The amendment mandated that men seeking Viagra watch a graphic video about the drug's potential side effects. "If they are serious about us not being able to make our own health care decisions, then I'm just as serious about them not being able to make theirs," she said.

Missouri state Rep. Stacey Newman, a Democrat, introduced legislation that would allow men to get vasectomies only if their life depended upon the procedure, which was similar to Georgia state Rep. Yasmin Neal's bill. "In determining whether a vasectomy is necessary, no regard shall be made to the desire of a man to father children, his economic situation, his age, the number of children he is currently responsible for, or any danger to his wife or partner in the event a child is conceived," the tongue-in-cheek Missouri bill reads.

Joking aside that is a bad way to land up and very very horrendous situation for anyone.... Gangrene and the Necrotizing fasciitis is a nasty killer:(

I don't know if your vision can turn blue, but in all the advertisements, they warn about a sudden loss of vision. Which is pretty sad when ya think about it... All that wood and you can't find the hearth.

What would a rectal exam do for a guy getting Viagra? Would he think to himself, "Hmmmm...if I want to get it up so I can fuck, I have to either get a friggin' camera up my ass, or a finger. Good Lord, I can't go through with that! No fingers or cameras up my ass!"

A rectal exam would do nothing other than check the guy's prostate, which is a good thing for guys above a certain to have done regularly anyway. What is the point of the ultrasound prior to abortion? Is it to check the conditions of the internal organs of the woman? Nope. It's so she can see what it is she is asking to be destroyed. Some women won't be moved to abort the procedure (pun intended), but some will. And, that's the point.

The ultrasound requirement is more akin to the proposed requirement to have pictures of smokers' lungs on packages of cigarettes.

According to Rep. Newman, a vasectomy is equal to an abortion? Do these women actually think before putting this out there?!? A vasectomy would be similar (though much less invasive) to a tubal ligation. Anyone who seriously supports these things is simply out for the media circus. The legislation is utterly ridiculous.

Equating Viagra to an abortion is incredibly stupid from the get go.

All that being said, I don't think the Government should subsidize Viagra (or similar medicinal concoctions), either. I couldn't care less if insurance companies want to cover it. That's up to the insurer. Same goes for any and all other procedures/medicines.

That's not hardly funny. My son had priaprism at the tender age of 8. It was horribly painful for him, scary for me and his father. He almost lost the organ and it took three operations to get the erection to go down. The side effects of that one issue is that he could have found himself sterile (he doesn't know if he is or not and doesn't care), impotent and he has an increased chance of it happening again.

Status: offline 		thats the whole point, it is a sarcastic dig at the transvaginal incident. thats why Kalis quote gives it away as being tongue in cheek
PS prostate exam might be given to rule out any other problem that can cause issues with non erections.
The walls between the bladder, bowel and prostate are thinner there and best felt thru the rectum for irregularities.
