Anyway, I took one of these before; I think it told me my IQ is 124, but I don't think it was a very original test. If I created my own; I'm sure I'd be in the 200 range! <cracks up>

My IQ is zero. Apparently I clicked on the wrong test because this is the result I received. ::laughs::

Celeste, you are Left-brained

Most left-brained people like you feel at ease in situations requiring verbal ability, attention to detail, and linear, analytical ability. Whether you know it or not, you are a much stronger written communicator than many, able to get your ideas across better than others.

It's also likely that you are methodical and efficient at many things that you do. You could also be good at math, particularly algebra, which is based on very strict rules that make sense to your logical mind.

So much for attention to detail! I didn't even click on the right test! I did, however, minor in mathematics in college and did very well, so there's something to be said for 'some' of the results.

Standardized tests to me do not mean much. I do very well at tests. My brother, who is way smarter than me, doesn't test well, so always does worse than I do. I think all it is a measure of is how well you take tests, and not necessarily how much you know... but I think they are good for a laugh or two.

Well, no, not really. Unless you take a very good IQ test (Mensa or so, not free online) your IQ will vary from test to test, as one will ask more questions up your alley than the other, or different point scale (some allow multiple correct answers, each with a varying degree of correctness)

The result I got said my IQ is *, then was annotated with "this means it is between * and *" meaning it could ber anywhere in that range of 10.

So it's quite possible that on both of those tests you were within the same range, just phrased differently.

I had that issue as well. You have to sign up, then search the site for it.
