Well, it's true. That test isn't complex enough to produce a very high ceiling. But I'm not going to write a long disquisition about I.Q. tests. I partially agree. I took a similar test about three months ago with double the questions when I was trying to place in a certain math class at our local community college. I scored 136. So that would tell me that this test is at least partially accurate. But here's my real question : In this test, there was a question which goes something { Not sure exactly} like this : If the are two cars at the same starting point and both drive six miles in the opposite direction, and then both make left turns and drive four miles. How many miles apart will they be? Ok.... to solve that question, the person taking the test has to at least understand the fundamentals of geometry { My take} - But what if they're super smart and just haven't studied the fundamentals in order to answer that question? Same thing with some of the questions where the language comes into play. If you ask me.... I think a better test would have twice the spatial type questions. - R
