A broken nose is black eyes, not just puffiness and banged up, that could be from drinking the night away.

I saw the links, aint buying it, pictures; or it didn't happen.

A broken nose can`t be faked.

A fake broken nose, can`t be faked. An xray will either show the fracture(s) or it won`t.

If there was a medical report saying it was broken or a medical file showing he was treated for one after the shooting...we`ll no doubt see it.

This is ANOTHER of the sticky sloppy inept lies the Zimmerman`s have been saying.

Look for this particular story to change or not be backed up.

It`s really key.....

Broken nose.....he has a defense....

No broken nose......he`s got a lot to explain.

~FR~

Maybe aliens swept down, started the rain, confused Martin, used his cell phone, baited Zimmerman, slapped him around, fired his gun, put it in his hand, and then ate Martin's second bag of skittles.

No one is talking about that second bag. It's in none of the reports. Why are the media, the police, and the politicians covering up the second bag?

Hey.....Kirata "read" all that somewhere or another......

Gotta be something to it........[8|]

Actually, Kirata's doing a far better job of sticking to what we know vs. speculation than anyone else in these threads.

Oh yes they're talking about Skittles, Arizona Tea too. And they want MONEY.

There is now a call for the companies that make both Skittles and Arizona Tea to donate money to either the parents of the dead boy, or to a scholarship fund... The New York Times spoke with African-American studies Professor, Dr.Weldon McWilliams of Cheyney University in Pennsylvania. Dr. McWilliams told the Times that Wrigley should invest in communities where "murder based on stereotypes is a reoccurring theme.” ~The Blaze

He did not say what neighborhoods those were.

Why Skittles and Arizona Tea and not the gun and ammo manufacturer?

Imagine the product placement in the movie version.

If they are going that route, I want to know who made the hoodie. You can never have too many ya know.

Don't forget the cell phone and the service provider.

Did he have a data plan? What sites was he visiting?

Medical Reports trump anecdotal evidence. Zimmerman can produce medical reports verifying his claims to a Judge and Jury, because I sure don't give a shit.

FACT 1: Trayvon Martin is dead.

FACT 2: George Zimmerman killed him.

THAT MEETS CHARGING REQUIREMENTS FOR MANSLAUGHTER UNDER FLORIDA LAW.

Why don't you want George Zimmerman to explain to a Judge why he killed Trayvon Martin?

Musicmystery -> RE: How close to getting beaten to death does this guy look? (4/1/2012 1:43:52 PM)

Why don't you take a look for once at what I actually write, instead of taking another hit and spinning another fantasy?

Not exactly, since under Florida law, his choice to arm himself and pursue after Trayvon Martin, makes him the provoker of the incident. Now Zimmerman needs to prove he satisfies 776.041 before he can claim self-defense. He still has to tell his story to a Judge.

PeonForHer -> RE: How close to getting beaten to death does this guy look? (4/1/2012 3:08:46 PM)

I've just discovered that Trayvon Martin was a member of the KKK, Fargle. He was nabbed by the cops as a young kid after leaving a burnt cactus outside a Mexican immigrant's house.

Hell's bells, who would have thought it???

PeonForHer -> RE: How close to getting beaten to death does this guy look? (4/1/2012 5:28:26 PM)

Right, that was an April Fools' Joke, of course.

I know, I know: hardly worth the bother. [:(]

The idea that it has to go to a grand jury prior to arrest means to me that they have a very weak case and are using the grand jury to cover their asses from both the mob and Zs potential case against them. If they had a slam dunk they'd take it.

Absolutely, positively incorrect.  By putting it before the Grand Jury, they are able to take their time and make sure every single piece of evidence is in their hands.  They can go to the Grand Jury with very little and get an indictment.  Getting that indictment allows them to make more discovery demands, because he is already charged.

The reality is that NOTHING is a slam dunk.  I mentioned it in another thread, and will reiterate it here.  Look at the Casey Anthony trial.  That not guilty verdict was not the result of a great defense attorney (although I'm sure he now markets himself that way).  That not guilty verdict was point by point the result of the prosecution's failures.  They presented their case so poorly that no one on the jury could give a guilty verdict, based on the combination of the charges and the evidence presented.  It had so little to do with what the defense did, it was laughable.

Not necessarily.  There is no question there was a scuffle of some sort.  Who was on the "bottom" of that struggle, or even whether the top and bottom changed positions is, at this point, inconclusive.

It would be reasonable that during this scuffle, Martin did indeed hit Zimmerman.  If Zimmerman attacked first (which no one saw the alleged punch, or the start of the struggle at all or haven't come forward), Martin was defending himself and therefore, Zimmerman doesn't have it as a defense.

farglebargle -> RE: How close to getting beaten to death does this guy look? (4/1/2012 7:59:20 PM)

Zimmerman doesn't have to attack first. Martin's reasonable fear of being stalked at night is sufficient grounds for Martin to do anything necessary to ensure his safety.

Wasn't the legal definition of "stalking," nor was he justified in using "anything necessary" because someone was following him.

Really, fargle, I'm sure you know how to find Florida's Criminal Code to protect yourself from arrest for possession should you go there, but really, if you slow down on the weed, you might have a better grasp of what you read.

Self defence is an affirmative defence. IOW the defendant has to prove it.

Well... you're right, in a sense. But, practically speaking...

The SPD has all the elements of the crime of manslaughter. They have not pressed charges, at this point, because they have been presented with a claim of self defense, a claim supported by the only known eye witness. A claim they cannot disprove.

As I stated earlier, three of my former students have used firearms in self-defense. None have been charged (Or will be. These incidents were years ago; one of them 15 years ago). Why? Claims of self-defense the police could not disprove.

Claims they never proved to a judge, jury, or grand jury.

truckinslave -> RE: How close to getting beaten to death does this guy look? (4/2/2012 12:22:47 AM)

Do you have pictures of Zimmerman taken, say, more than 24 hours, and less than two weeks after, he defended himself?
