I'm glad to hear it.  While only you can become more comfortable in your own skin, letting your partner know this is something you are sensitive about gives him the *heads up* so he knows never to use them in any humliation play, as well as to help you overcome your issues by telling you that he thinks you are beautiful and the scars don't matter to him.
