It's time for the April Roll Call!!!! In My corner of the world, My head is consumed with thoughts of Northern Exposure 3! I am so excited to be a presenter there. Over these next couple of weeks, I'm going to be submerged in the process of making paraffin candles while the other half is in Colorado on business. I have two weeks to tear the house up with wax while he is gone. (It is rather messy.) I still can't believe I've been invited as a presenter. It just rocks My world. The site for the event is up officially now and can you folks believe I am now at the top as the headliner???? I am way too boring for that stuff. One of the other ten must be more interesting than Me. I get to teach three classes. The first is "From Monogamy to Poly", which is all about how MP and I transitioned our relationship. The second is "Erotic Wax" and I have the cutest gal in the world to do it with Me. The third is "BDSM on a Budget", which everybody does these days, but I'm hoping I can make it fun. For those of you who remember LuckyAlbatross, I finally get to meet her in the flesh! She is coming up from Texas to present, too. I'm really excited about that. The producer of this event is currently running for Ms International Leather. We are all sitting up here waiting with baited breath. If she brings that title home, I just don't know what I will do with Myself. So, what is happening in your world this April?

I'm currently working way too much, and I'm anticipating meeting my new boss on Tuesday, just in time for him to yell at me about overtime ... blarg ... Otherwise, things here are same old same old - too many critters in the house, puppies are growing and playing "I'm ferocious" with each other ... pig is doing well, chickens are laying a ton of eggs ... and our seeds that we've planted are sprouting.

LOL. Friday, my ex minion quit in a fit of rage (guess my replacement never learned how to manage her, /snerk/ ) and my IM exploded with ex coworkers wondering if I knew what was up and was it an April Fool's joke. I'm gearing up for job hunting and then apartment hunting. This place has a wet basement which I expect to be problematic once the spring rains start.

Happy New Year's, Everybody!! Same ole same ole. Working. (Uck! Yucky stuff, this "work" business.) Painting, again. yay. Horsies and kitties and feet in high heels for fetishists. Moving, soon. Not sure where, yet. Staying in the same general area...I hope. Entertaining offers from known subs for me to move in and take over.... What's that noise? Crickets???

Im going to Masters Retreat with the boy in service to me on the 20th.. Im putting on my big girl panties and going without the better half. Which is both exciting and scary. So far red is proving to more dream than nightmare which is good.. and Im pretty happy happy about that... Keeping you all in my good thoughts and hope you will do the same for me Wants to know whats happening on the 17th??

Enjoying the early spring here. It got up to nearly 90 yesterday.....not quite ready for that. I refuse to turn the AC on this early. My yard just looks, and smells, so amazing with everything blooming right now. We are actually way too dry for this time of year. I am already worrying about the summer and a drought year. For the first time since 2001, I am seriously starting to look for another job much closer to home. This place is a dying industry, the pay isn't increasing, let alone keeping up with the cost of living and driving 50ish miles to get here, then back home, is getting to be more than the increase of pay, by doing the drive, is worth. Gas is just getting too high to validate it. Not to mention, that because of the commute, I spend 65 hours a week to do this job. I love the people I work with and the flexibility I have to manage my time while here, but I have to look at the bottom line. Motocross season starts this next weekend......yay. I won't be able to afford to go as much as I like......boo. But, the boys have been invited to compete at a national level now so it was bound to happen that I wouldn't be able to travel the country with them anyway. Nice weather equals a lot more hiking and riding. I've come to the realization that my old horse just hasn't got the joints to ride the way I enjoy anymore. The yout is getting a lot more work that he would like but it's good for both of us. He is a handful and a half, keeps me on my A game. On the bright side, all of my hard work at the gym has paid off. The hiking and riding is much easier again! Generic dude is finally doing well enough at his two businesses that he was able to quit his part time job. I actually get to see him in more than passing on weekends. Although, he did welch on a deal to spend the whole weekend hanging out when a last minute appointment came up on Friday, for Saturday morning, and then the golf sirens called and begged him. I told him to go and get out of my hair. Now, if only I had the time to go hunting for one of those cute little s-types.

Not quite sure where to start... after the excitement of getting engaged last month, doesn't seem like there is too much to report... we're wedding planning, counting vacation hours, getting out to play, doing the spring yardwork and cleaning, and generally just living life 101 -- as usual hope you're all well

HAPPY NEW YEAR! ooppsss I got caught acting like an April Fool. Hello A/all, This old Timber Beast is alive, alert, and oriented times 3 out of 4. For a while, I thought that I was depressed over events of this past Fall. Then it hit me. I was having a natural reaction to the worst ski season that I can remember. I am looking forward to August and the start of a new season. Meanwhile repair, re-assesment and improvement (both internal and external) are the order of the day. One little story to share: A co-worker told me just today that he is glad to be around someone positive. YUP... I am back on track!... Respectfully, Mike SnowRanger

MisstressDarkArt, I knew you were April foolin' us!! So far so good this month. I am about to start looking for a new puppy. I wanted a Min Pin a year after My last one passed. But with school, it was hard to do that, so I waited. Now that I'm out I'm gonna search again. I don't even want to say this one here right now, as I feel it will jinx Me,lol, but I have a slave on her way to Me tomorrow. I bought her ticket today. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I'm so happy about that. I started getting ready for Easter preparations today, we do a big dinner outside under the pecan tree. I saw a table decor on Pinterest that I liked. I will post pics later. I hope it turns out to be beautiful. At some point this coming weekend, I plan on getting some azaleas and roses, and doing some yard work. I love spring and yard work. My porch looks good, and I enjoy it everyday. That's about it for Me. More to come..... [sm=cute.gif] [sm=cute.gif]

Preparing for Camp Crucible (ordering supplies and clothes, mailing things ahead to my Mom's house, having two Delta House skype meetings to discuss plans, the class we're presenting, and House prep). Continuing with my minimum of 1hr a day of exercise and keep mixing in some days where I do 2 hours. Keeping drinking my 10 glasses of water each day. Ordering Delta House Crest lapel pins. And that's all the bigger stuff. Everything else is basically day-to-day.

Today I am sitting around awaiting Mother Nature's onslaught. There is a winter storm warning, with up to 25 cm of the whilte stuff on the ground before she is done. It would appear that someone failed to tell her that it is spring time. We are taking the kids up to Fantasy Land Hotel for a couple of days. We are booked into a Western Suite and the kids get to sleep in the country jail. There will be much shopping and eating and walking done. Perhaps some swimming. With the son's trip to Florida cancelled due to medical reason, we are now starting to jump through the many hoops necessary to retrieve our $3500. I know that the flight will come back as a voucher, instead of cash, and that is okay. We will use it eventually. The cat has been happier since we put her on the kidney diet food. She actually got up on the bed and snuggled with me last night. I hate that she is not feeling well and that there is nothing I can do for her, except love her. My cracked ribs are not as sore today as they were yesterday. Everyone else in the household is healthy for a change.

SNOW?!?!? What part of the world do you live in? I cannot get to the other side to snoop. My sister lives in a beautiful valley just south of the big ski areas of Colorado and got snow yesterday.........but not that amount and with a high in the 60's today, I am sure it's long gone by now. We are already running the AC here at work....and wishing for rain.
