They're just trying to find anything to deflect attention from their conservative hero who should be rotting in Leavenworth rather than continuing to do harm to the republic.

Actually, concerning the proceedings here as they have devolved, I can't think of any animal as adequate descriptive comparison for this level of cerebral dysfunction.

Things like "plank," "brick," "dirt," "lead," etc. come to mind, though.

The fact is that he was the only one who made the specific comparison between an African-American and a dog.

Maybe he did not explicitly claim he thought it was OK for himself to do that, but the fact is, that is exactly what he, and no one else, did.

Again; the only person to ask why such a comparison is OK is the person who actually made the comparison.
