I think gays are the likely ones to have working "gaydar".... Same way that I become attuned to submissive qualities in certain women (strangers) when seeing them for the first time. That all living things recognise their "own kind" when they see it.... And since I'm no more switch than I am gay, you're likely right (or close) that my respective antennae is broken - or more likely non-existant.

But then, that's not what I'm using. You're the first hetero (?) I've ever come across to say "I used to wish I was bi-sexual" (from your OP).... So pardon me if that statement gave me pause. As does you being a little too defensive about it now. Same principle for your "Now I sort of wish I was a switch" comment from the same OP.

Look, either (bi, switch) is no big deal to me if you are or aren't. But it's not my life experience that people spend time pondering that which they have no affinity or interest. I'm merely commenting on what you're seemingly projecting in this topic. And yeah, of course I could be wrong... <shrugs> So go shoot some other messenger.... ;)

oh, i get where you were coming from now. i don't really wish either (being bi or switch), and i guess me saying i'm careful for what i wish for didn't cut it as a way of saying i don't want either.

but the practical side of me sees they have twice as many options and wishes i could too. it's like being at October Fest but being someone who drinks wine, and lamenting "gee, i wish i enjoyed beer, but i just don't".

I'm just wondering why you would go to an Octoberfest if you don't like beer and why you would wish you drank it. To me that would be odd thinking.

Practical???

And for my latest generalisation, I'm thinking you're a quantity over quality kinda person???

Me, I think both have their merits, but I'll still take quality over quantity every time.

Maybe you should wander over to the 'Switch' or 'Submissive' forums and ask about those with relationship experience of being sub to a switch. Just my prejudices here, but I can't really imagine a switch being the everyday control freak I am when the girl shows signs of sliding....

And do you have r/l experience of owning your own sub? All sweet and obedient as most like to present, grown women are always capable of being a 24/7 handful - esp for a Dom "sliding", himself.

Focus.

IMO everyone is wired differently. I learned through life what I am and what makes me happiest. It was all a learning process. Being born into a society that has set rules as to the roles a person is to be put in effected us all. As a black female the slot I would have been put into by my family makeup at my age was; Vanilla life, Married, and With Children. Nothing is farther from the truth here with me.

So, I will quote again today "Know Thyself" I don't think my wires got crossed anywhere. Every role is different for everyone. So, a switch, a submissive, or another Dom for that matter will not think like I do and vise versa. Through life you learn what you really are if you are lucky. I am a Domme. In life you are put into roles whether you want them or not. In that way you learn what is best for you. I don't have to put myself in the roles I feel I will not be happy in. Because I "Know myself". I know I won't understand from their perspective so why force trying to understand.

I spoke to some subs that said they would never want to be a switch or dommes. People know what they are. Instead of thinking of it as everyone has two sides to their coin. Think of it as to why force a square peg into a circle slot.

Damn, and here I am peeking in hoping the great divide was the vagina nestled between her legs...or at least cleavage.

Color me crushed.
