The information above is a real live website traffic study from a marketing presentation I did for CM. So your intuition about some people being financially motivated may be most astute. However, your assessment equating FinDommes to their post count is not accurate. There are many frequent thread author Dommes that do not do pay sessions. On the other hand, there are few we see on a monthly cycle like clock work when their bills are due and they come start a thread with a dumbass topic like "do you like black dildos up your ass" to drum up business.

Vanessa, I have to admit I clicked this thread because I couldn't imagine you admitting to something like being stupid. I have spoken to you and have no real issues with you. I don't really think anyone here has any real issues with you other than you seem to always be on the attack. Something you don't seem to care for when it comes from others. Looking at your op here I do have a few comments though....What struck you? Please explain it clearly because what you have said doesn't seem, to me, to make sense. You left your profile open and were shocked by the amount of msgs you got asking for things? Why? My inbox is full of silly requests for things every time I log in. I don't have to walk away and wait for it to happen. It happens all by it's self when I'm not around. It's common, get used to it. You are shocked by the amount of "pettiness, the bitchiness, the catty remarks, the "lighthearted" insults and jabs" ? No offense but are you new to the net, or the female gender for that matter? Yes, it is common that new people here get a trial by fire. It happened to me when I first showed up too. I got over it. Most people get over it or walk away to find someplace else to talk. by the way If you think it is hard being another domme showing up here...try being a sub male and see what happens hahaha. The ladies tend to be a lot, and I do mean a lot, harder on men than they are on women.(IMHO of course) You should also be aware, or made aware, that most of the women that post on these forums(from what I have noticed in the last year) are either already in a realationship or not looking for one. Many of them even hide their profiles to avoid the influx of email that you spoke of. The ones that might view you as competition are on the other side. They don't want to chat on a forum. They are busy doing other things. Now if we can move past little girls on a playground pulling pigtails and breaking toys......can we go back to talking about cream pies, and cum shots, and why after so many years doing what you do your hubby still has issues that you can't work out for him?

Thank you, for the compliment, but I would not call it "feeding off of each others negativity" Women communicate in a very different way then men do. It can be confusing to watch at times but it is still communitation.

I have to agree with MIP, every time this OP posts something it is usually negative and on the attack. I have noticed other people have said and felt the same way. I do think she is a troll as well, thus the reason why I stopped directly engaging in convo with "her". Judging by her posts it's usually on the attack of Fin/Pro Dommes, I would say that "she" is butthurt over getting denied and made a profile to bash Pro/Fin Dommes. I could be wrong but seems that way.

I didn't allude to it. I flat out said it. The net is not a place for those that are faint of heart or weak of conviction. That statement has to do with both men and women. Not just women. The trial by fire I was talking about would have been her first post where she proved that not only will she say what she wants she will do it without batting a lash at anything others have to say about it. As for walking the gaunliet...I was one of the people that challenged her on her first post. That was how I ended up speaking to her. In the end I thanked her for clearing up what it was she really wanted to know and she thanked me for taking the time to care enough to try and understand and then listen. It doesn't mean if she says something overly stupid now that I'm just to let it slide.

It takes up to much room. And I normally assume the person I am speaking to is bright enough to know that I am speaking to them (via that whole bottom right corner thing)
