CLEVELAND (AP) — Occupy protesters must ask serious questions about their open-arms policy in light of charges brought against five members accused of trying to blow up an Ohio bridge. Why not ask YSG? He's from the area. Or better yet.. why not contact the Cleveland Occupy Movement Folks themselves and make your concerns known to them. I am sure they would feel honored to hear from such concerned citizens ... They gave the following statement and offer up their contact info in the context of the statement: Statement Concerning May 1st Events in Cleveland Media Contact: The contact info is on their site site Had to take it out because Rich and His Collarchat GF are already fantasizing what the poor Occupy Cleveland folks will taste like with Fava Beans... May 1, 2012 – Cleveland – While the persons arrested Monday evening by the FBI have participated in Occupy Cleveland events, they were in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland. Occupy Cleveland has affirmed the principles of non-violence since its inception on October 6, 2011. Occupy Cleveland has spoken out and worked against violence in all its forms, including: Wars and occupations Economic violence of financial inequality, unemployment, debt, and foreclosure Social violence of racism, sexism and homophobia Environmental violence of global warming and fracking Occupy Cleveland believes the only way to respond to a violent federal and corporate state is through active non-violence. It is unfortunate that this occurred on the eve of May Day, the day the Occupy movement and workers around the world have taken to the streets, demanding justice. What has happened in no way discredits the issue and the non-violent methods of Occupy Cleveland and the Occupy movement worldwide. quote:

Attempting to shut down Wall Street isn't a form of economic violence? Here's the entirety of the story: 5 jackoffs who have been to rallies and support OWS, participated in a scheme to blow up a bridge the 5 of them devised. Here's what we have: 5 guys have attended OWS rallies support OWS schemed to blow up a bridge on May Day That is all we know. OWS Cleveland will claim to not be involved, regardless of their involvement. There is no proof that OWS or OWS Cleveland had any hand in the scheme. Pinning this on OWS is as bad as pinning racism on the Tea Party simply because some of its members are ignorant enough to exhibit their racism. Unless there is proof that this was an OWS activity, this can not be blamed on the movement. That OWS has ignorance among their members should not be surprising. You can find ignorance, even aggressive ignorance, in pretty much any large group of people.
