Not at all, 'your' guy isnt doing to well on his own, and even less well than 'our' guy.

*NB:  and this aint noteworthy new 'news stuff' to most the folks here: I didn't vote for 'our' guy last time, and I ain't voting for 'our' guy this time.

I am simply stating 'our' guy will be president.  look at the assclown he is up against.

It is what it is.

I think you guys are just worried that your guy isn't doing too well.

Actually my guy is way ahead in the only part of the race that actually counts and Romney has few paths to victory already. Romney must win Florida and either Ohio and Pennsylvania plus at least one other state. The President has many more viable routes open and does not need to put all his eggs in 3 baskets.

Mark ... I have a feeling this is a pretty 'focused' poll as rasmussen has been known to be. Remember all the times in 08 when they declared Obama in 'serious trouble'?

But wait I shouldn't take this lightly... nor should the president... You know, the President who raised FIFTEEN MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS over dinner last night. The biggest single fund raising event in presidential history.
He's probably TERRIFIED as to how this will affect his popularity.

What did he say ???
When you look at aggregate numbers rasmussen has a strong bias. I know I had a couple typos but you understand the differrence between anecdotal and statisical evidence?

nate Silver:While waiting for the remaining results to trickle in from states like Colorado and Alaska, I did a quick check on the accuracy of polls from the firm Rasmussen Reports, which came under heavy criticism this year — including from FiveThirtyEight — because its polls showed a strong lean toward Republican candidates.

Indeed, Rasmussen polls quite consistently turned out to overstate the standing of Republicans tonight. Of the roughly 100 polls released by Rasmussen or its subsidiary Pulse Opinion Research in the final 21 days of the campaign, roughly 70 to 75 percent overestimated the performance of Republican candidates, and on average they were biased against Democrats by 3 to 4 points.

Every pollster is entitled to a bad cycle now and again — and Rasmussen has had some good cycles in the past. But their polling took a major downturn this year.

Heh ... you know this is not a legit business/informational/institutional/commercial website right?

Some dope created this site out of MS FrontPage, which basically the Pros all laugh at.

Before believing every bag of nuts you're offered, you should understand the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations of 2002, along with any updates.

Not only is this site NOT a legitimate business/informational website, it's a hacker's paradise. You can get at and load the directx api if you know what you're doing.

So their data presented might be based entirely on BS.

How about a better representation next time you're demonstrating your 'intelligence'?
I mean when passing off Tea Bagger make-believe as cold hard facts that is.

Hey, how about you actually research WHO had THE MOST ACCURATE POLLING for the 2008 Presidential Election the next time you're demonstrating your "intelligence"?!!

Pssst... it was Rasmussen (GASP!!!) [8|]

anecdotal evidence is worthless. I was speaking of consistant statistically measured bias. i bet they have a dozen more just like you rferenced but that is not an analysis is it? I posted an analysis based on aggragate numbers not singel polls .

Youre right, too bad youve misidentified the bias. Rasmussen polls likely voters and that is why they are consistently (not anecdotally) at least as and often more accurate than other polls. The other major polls consistently overweight Democrats without adjustment and/or poll all adults or all registered voters. Thats why they are consistently biased.

Musicmystery -> RE: Oh, No! Romney seven points ahead in todays Rassmussen Poll? (5/11/2012 8:25:08 PM)

That's not bias--that's inaccuracy.

but in truth, any "polls" with regard to O'Failure or Mittens at this point in time are rather meaningless.

I have to second MSLA on this one. November is a long way off.

Ah. Cherry-picking as "proof." Very scientific of you.

Sigh. One guy types a page, posts it on the Internet, and you're the paragon of proof in your mind. Whatever.

Rasmussen has been slipping since 2006, worse each election cycle.

But believe whatever you want.
