This link was great!

Thank you. I looked at some of his videos and I think he communicates the stereotypical conventional masculine and feminine mindset very well. Great stuff for anyone's relationship toolbox.

PMC - How Man and Women keep score

Him: "How did that make you feel?"

Her: Ding ding ding ding.

Narrator: And you're doing...NOTHING!

i wanted to problem solve, lets sit down and talk about why this is happening and what the possible solutions are.. then implement the best one and hopefully that works..

Ya, I am a problem solver too, which is why I'll ask girlfriends if they just want to vent and be heard or if they would like me to problem solve with them.

I find that, while funny, none of what he says is even close to accurate in my experience.

Would you rather get a dozen roses once or 1 rose on 12 different days?

To paraphrase a line in a favored movie - I'd rather have 5 minutes of wonderful over a life-time of mediocre.

Himself and I took mini-vacations to Sintra at least a dozen times. They were very cool.. I always, always had a good time in Sintra, but the memories sort of run together. We made one incredible trip to Rome that I'll never forget and I remember almost every moment from beginning to end.

I'll take the dozen roses once and enjoy that memory rather than 1 a day for 12 days when I might not be able to recall the specifics of each day later on.

From that dozen roses.. I'd take one and press it and save that one.

That would be cool if I liked flowers and they didn't make me sneeze.

I'd actually rather have a dozen balloons and if they were delivered by a gorilla.. so much the better. [;)]

You are low maintenance, romantic and if you get wild or kinky, you wanna' get really wild. I think I love you.

Well, you can't be a woman, then. You should re-check for three bulging items that may exist between your legs. Some bearded old bullshitter with thick glasses, a bulging wallet and a pisspoor Ph.D from an unknown university in California said that women aren't problem solvers and are all emotional and holistic and stuff, so it must be true.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/22/2012 6:23:55 PM)

There is no one between my legs at the moment. [>:]

I am going to start creating problems instead of solving them.

Can I solve problems holistically and keep my chick card?

More like a question to point out the validity of Mark's perceptions about attitude difference between the masculine and feminine minds.

He says a guy gives himself big points for popping the bill on a dozen roses once, thinking it will hold her happiness for a long time. But she only gives him a little credit for making a single gesture. The guy would be better off giving her 1 rose 12 times and getting 12 credits because men and women score things differently. So yes, it is a question of female vs male mathematics, attitude and perspective.

For me.......I love flowers and anyone that knows me, knows that. I like cut flowers but.....if a person wants to really make my heart sing they will create a garden of flowers for me. Take the time and effort to learn what flowers I want. To learn the best place in my yard to create the garden, enrich the soil, plant the flowers, tend them, care for them.......all for me to enjoy for a very long time.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 10:20:19 AM)

I was about to say that you're very demanding, LaT, but then I remembered your sapphic inclinations! [:D]

LaTigresse -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 10:40:28 AM)

Oddly enough, there is only one person that has ever done anything like the above.........granted it wasn't quite the effort I described, but he sure gave it 100%. And it was a damned fine flower bed.

And ya, I figure if they cannot put more effort into doing something to please me, than I would do for myself..........then why the fuck bother?!?!? I may as well do it myself and not have to put up with their shit. I mean, seriously!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 11:03:09 AM)

That's why I say people should just send me stuff. They never do, but I keep saying it. MUCH easier to just have no expectations.

LaTigresse -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 11:20:35 AM)

Ya, I never did get new riding boots! Not even for my birthday!!!!!!

Which reminds me. There were several guys that kept messaging me on the other side......on and on about how, they were loaded with mad cash, didn't want sex, just wanted to serve da goddess yanno. Over and over I told them.......go donate some of your mad cash to whateverthefuckcharity I picked and send me a scan of the receipt. Oh waaaaaa, that isn't serving the great goddess. So fine I thought to my fineassgoddessself, I went and set up an Amazon wish list, putting my favourite LavAzza espresso and my fav chocolates on there. Now, let's see if they can manage less that $30.00 of their mad cash to serve da goddess. Oh fucking hell no! They disappeared without even a puff of smoke to prove they existed. Which is just peachy keen fine.....my Amex points usually pays for the espresso orders and I don't eat much chocolate these days.

And best of all, I got rid of the whiny little trolls!

mnottertail -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 11:27:10 AM)

The reason you didnt get your riding boots was they knew deep down that there was no way they were gonna get a shot to tan your leathers.

LaTigresse -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 11:30:45 AM)

There is that...

I need a..........less honest........approach.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/23/2012 1:14:59 PM)

It's true, I use the charity thing whenever the cash cows get pesky, but there's no lust in charity, is there? I did get one guy to send me $15 dollars, once. I didnt specify the amount, I reckon that's as much as he could hide from his wife.

More differences between men and women, eh!

r1a2y3m4o5n6d7 -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/24/2012 12:09:15 PM)

LMAO $15???? You need to improve on your soliciting skills. I would do better than $15. I would send you a Culvers cupon.

Oh Ray you would have died laughing at this guy, I had the most evil fun messing with him!

mummyman321 -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/24/2012 12:51:57 PM)

Can I send you a 6'0" tall package wrapped up in saran wrap and duct tape?[8D]

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/24/2012 2:41:10 PM)

YES YOU MAY KTHX

yourdarkdesire -> RE: Brains: Men vs. Women (5/24/2012 4:07:03 PM)

Well, it appears that I am the minority person here - because everything Mark had to say was spot on for my experiences. He described my hubby perfectly. He described me perfectly.

It is a shame that most of you women care so little about the men in your lives, that you would bother to ask what they were thinking about. One of the basic parts of communication ya know.
