Pleasure and Pain are the basic principles in what is called conditioning, where you get more of what you reward and less of what you punish..........?? Sub Drop is also a form of conditioning .

He has never used a flogger or crop on me for example.. but has used a police riot baton, an old fashioned sap etc The whole pleasure and pain thing works for some but not really for us

It's not perfect, hell at times it is bloody difficult. A LOT of what he does I utterly hate but then submitting to things i hate also has its own mental impact on me. My pleasure comes from serving him and suffering for him as opposed to any direct sexual pleasure etc, and I have given up a lot of things that i would not have chosen to in order to walk my path
