1. Koch Brothers!

2. Out of State money.

3. Rigged electronic voting machines.

4. People voting against their own interests.

5. Recall elections never work out very well.

6. Outspent

Others?

One reason that they will never say:

"The people" preferred Walker and supported his policies and laws. Or, as has famously been said "This is what democracy looks like."

Firm. Does it surprise you that he won this one by a larger margin than when he was originally elected? it mildly surprised me.

mnottertail -> RE: "Progressive" and union excuses for the Walker win .... (6/6/2012 6:19:09 AM)

How much larger numbers wise, not percentage wise.  Looks to me like he beat the same man by about the same amount or so.   I aint really got any sort of hardon for cheesehead politics, they are the land of tailgunner joe, and you never know what they are thinking.

Real0ne -> RE: "Progressive" and union excuses for the Walker win .... (6/6/2012 6:20:15 AM)

Oh thats right.....

Its because he is the tea party favorite!

LMAO

You are laughing like woody woodpecker and slobbering like cujo....there is nothing new about that at all, it is a constant condition with you.

I do find it funny that Willard is taking credit for Walkers win today, even though he did nothing, never went to Wisconsin, nor did he come out in support of Walker....

OH well, the GOP did lose control of the senate in Wisconsin

I find it funny that you think Romney has taken credit when all he did was congratulate Walker for his win.

Google is your friend

Yes, it did somewhat surprise me.

The total numbers were up, on both sides, from the general election, but the Walker side brought in more new voters than the Dem side.

What I find interesting is that the union membership has declined so much, once it no longer became mandatory to pay their dues. That is the most interesting set of numbers in the whole affair.

I hope Walker gets the opportunity to take the Fire and Police unions to task, now. Some of the stuff that the Police did (and didn't do) was simply abhorrent, during the entire affair.

Absolutely. Isn't it amazing what choice looks like versus coercion?

What a load of dogshit.  If the union cannot protect you as originally contracted, why keep paying payments?

Seems the libs don't understand democracy.

You can add this one -- A friend says this is the headline he'd like to see today: "Scott Walker spent 88% of the money to get 53% of the vote."

But yes, he won.

Point Walker.

Don't fucking put words in our mouths.

You've heard of straw man?

If that's all you've got, move along.

Oh, I see.

You'll rail against them, when someone says something dastardly against Democrats and "liberals", but it's not worth acknowledging, when someone says something dastardly against Republicans and conservatives?

Got it.

kdsub -> RE: "Progressive" and union excuses for the Walker win .... (6/6/2012 12:19:53 PM)

I personally believe Walker’s policies to balance the budget are short sided and in the end doomed to failure. If I lived in the state I would join in the opposition opposing him in the next regular election. That said I do not believe it proper to waste state funds on a recall election. After all it may have been his idea but the duly elected legislature supported it.

I would have voted against the recall even though I think him wrong…It was just not the proper way to address the issue and the people agreed.

No, that's not it. You're making it up.

See how that works?

Yeah. Just like I said. You won't acknowledge "hate speech" by lefties ... because you sympathize with them.

In the left's world, this is because "their cause is just" and they are "morally superior" and "more intelligent" than all those criminal, stoopid and mentally retarded Republicans and conservatives. [8|]

Bullshit.

Again, you're just making that up.

Find a mirror, dude.
