An update on this:

He suggested that he should come see me. He said that he doesn't get paid until next Monday though. So, if I could loan him the money for the airline ticket, he would pay me back when he arrived here.

I told him that I couldn't do that because I didn't want my husband to find out. But, it's okay...I don't care about giving up the big house, the BMW convertible and the 6 figure income business. That I'd happily walk away from it all just to be with him. I told him we could do a one way ticket, which he would have to pay for since I'm giving up everything and I would have my boxes of clothes shipped to him.

There's been no response.......

I met this guy at a local pub that I knew well and was friends with the bartender. A car pulls up across the street and it's full to the brim and stuff tied down on the roof. I figured it was someone moving into an apartment nearby. Shrugged it off and go back to sipping my drink. In walks this big, ugly, fat, greasy hair guy and sits next to me and I realize that car was his. It turns out he somehow got the impression that he was going to move in with me right then and there. He apparently lost his home (I didn't ask and didn't want to know) and because he was a "Dom" he was going to move in with me. I just blinked, said I had to use the restroom and my bartender friend overheard everything and showed me the back door lol.

Now I've never done that before and haven't since but there was no friggin way I was going back out there and having the guy possibly follow me home or cause some kind of ruckus. To this day I have no idea how he got the notion that I was interested in him in that way or that he was going to stay with me forever. Not once did I ever give him that impression. We had only talked online for a couple of days maybe and it was just stuff like books and music and since he lived a couple of hours away he asked me meet and I said SURE! Yeah, what a mistake. If he ever tried to contact me again I have no idea. I blocked him as soon as I got home.
