If the fact that a country as strong as the US is, ranks 37th in infant mortality, doesn't tell you somehthing needs changed in health care, you are either stupid, or heartless.

37TH!

The PPACA may not fix all our ills, but it will certainly be a start.

37TH!.....freaking amazing!

What makes everyone think that just because we have a national healthcare system, the same poor people who use the emergency room now for health care, (it doesn't cost them anything) will suddenly become health enthusists and get regular checkups? Yes it will be great for the responsible people but the poor, who never paid for any services anyway, why would they go to a plain Doctor's office when they can go to a nice, modern hospital ER full of neat shiny medical machines? If the ER's still have to treat anybody who comes in, we will still have crowded Emergency rooms full of non-paying people. Tell me again how we saved. Oh thats right, we charge the responsible people who go to the less qualified, drab Doctor's office.

Why dont you want to give them a chance to find out, what its like to be able to GO into regular doctors office.
Have you ever been to an ER and waited seven or 8 hours because you have a sick child?? with people screaming, crying, moaning in pin, puking, fighting, dying, coughing, sneezing crapping and pissing everywhere? why would a poor person prefer that to a quiet, relatively clean doctors office. IF they had nice , drab offices to go to, they wouldnt NEEED to be crammed in ERS

Plus, everybody knows poor people hate to go to doctors. They much prefer ERs, where the lines are long, so they can sit in the comfy chairs and watch the TV. In doctors' offices, they have to read magazines.

Besides, poor people like to be in a lot of pain, so they try to save it up rather than seeing the doctor for help. That's because poor people think nothing of themselves, but only how they can game the system, so that other people will have to pay for them. That's why they won't get medicine, only emergency operations.

Oh, I forgot, one more thing...you are a dumb fuck.

Worldwide, millions die every year without health insurance.
