ORIGINAL: Arturas Just now, all hosts on the MSNBC show "The Cycle", proposed that voting be "mandated", that voting be mandatory by law for all U.S. citizens. I'm am not surprised. Mandates are the focus of the Left and socialism. What say you? Only if there is a NONE OF THE ABOVE box to check. Voting is kinda like a restaurant menu at the only restaurant in town. You'll order (vote) for what you like or will tolerate (lesser of two evils). Voting is your civil duty as a US Citizen. PERIOD! If you dont like it, maybe you dont need the perks that go with being a US Citizen? Would be nice to have some system that shows who actually voted and who didnt. I have no problem with someone voting against the canidate that I voted in favor of. I do have a problem with someone that makes up an excuse for not voting, THEN, bitchs for the next so many years until the next election that 'this' or 'that' is not to their liking. I wish such individuals would just be quiet; as they were given a chance to speak their minds with their vote and FAILED! I look at voting for a president like a job hiring. Because THAT is what it is. Should be the optimistic view that the best person gets the job.
