May I point out something.

IF a space faring culture had the ability to cross interstellar distances to come to Earth in the first place, they have a higher technology than we do.

This means they have the ability to wipe us out without much of a bother. So basically, the ability to handle an alien invasion better or worse than Romney is not really saying much more than Obama has the ability to die better when the aliens blast Washington out of existence.

Granted, in my opinion Romney would probably step down as president as soon as the alien space ships were spotted, if not try to make a deal with the aliens.

It probably does.
Even if they don't break general relativity just to get here, you can't build a generation ship capable of crossing interstellar distances without rather better energy efficiency and metallurgy (for a start) than we have, surely?

in the Oval Office.
He admits he's a Trekkie.
Biden also bears some resemblance to
Bones McCoy.

Mitt said his favorite book was one of
L Ron Hubbard's.

I have to go with Spock and McCoy versus
the aliens.

Mitt also admits to reading the Twilight
series so if the vampires are sparkly he
may be able to deal, otherwise...
