She describes the brand as a diamond with a raised circle in the middle.

That's the logo of the California Almond Growers' Association. The BASTARDS!

Whoever it is they are confident enough that they allow her to have contact through a messenger, but have blocked all other apps.

I have personally kidnapped thousands of unwilling women, and I have never allowed ANY of them to have Internet access. These kidnappers are rank amateurs.

This was way before cell phones and we had no way to call
the police! It is something I will never forget, that look of terror
on her face! He saw her looking at us and he the look he gave her
scare us!

So I understand everyone laughing at this op, I have been here
but I have not seen it all! But I feel what if the next time it is 'someone
who needs help!

It happen on facebook, the woman was save and safe, police were called and a
happy endings for all! Never say never, everyone!

Mons, honey, if the woman on facebook is the same one in the camper, I have to tell ya that cell phones were ubiquitous before facebook got it's start.

A friend was "taken" from her home in VA last week by an acquaintence. This weekend she was the main attraction at an event and yesterday was branded. She describes the brand as a diamond with a raised circle in the middle. Does anybody know anything about it? Whoever it is they are confident enough that they allow her to have contact through a messenger, but have blocked all other apps. She suspects that her estranged husband is involved.

The flag of Brazil?

Does she happen to be mute?

If I had been kidnapped and branded and held against my will, and somehow had access to messenger but nothing else, and somehow only knew how to contact this person that I know online, I don't think I would be describing what the brand looks like so that he could go on an internet forum and do some detective work. I think I would be giving him my name, address, date of birth, description, details of my next of kin, descriptions of the people who had me, descriptions of the places I had been taken, whether or not I needed medical help and any other useful information I had overheard, and I would be begging that person to contact the police.

Well CRAP! Here I was really liking you and thinking how great you'd be to kidnap, brand, and them become my third... really cuts to the chase on that whole unicorn hunt thing. But as it turns out, your too smart *pouts*

Not sure about too smart, but I'm far too troublesome and disobedient for your taste Jeff! You would be bored of me and sending me home by the end of the week.

ROFL.. not too sure about that. But I'd be willing to go out on a limb and guess your husband might get really troublesome.

*sighs* OK... back to the drawing board.

GreedyTop -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:36:42 AM)

aw, c'mon you cold hearted people! there's a kidnapped (alleged) woman out there who has been branded, at the very least! Where's the humanity?????

sexyred1 -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:42:27 AM)

I have my doubts about it too. That's why I'm asking about the brand. This has been building up for the past month. This is a military spouse that ran to another state to avoid trouble. Then she asked for a divorce and exactly a week later somebody shows up at the door. I just need info on the brand.

If she is a deaf mute, I might can help ya.

streetjust -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:53:05 AM)

The brand is for a local group that her husband belongs to. The adbuction turned out to be her punishment for leaving. So, this is more of a domestic violence issue and definately not a joke. The authorities have been contacted. Thanks for the help.

GreedyTop -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:55:08 AM)

So ,you have NOT actually met this woman face to face and in person....

Uh huh... [8|]

GreedyTop -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:59:44 AM)

Frankly, while I applaud LEO and the military for training to look for signs of human traficking, I think it's pathetic that there is also not training in place to identify potential scammers looking to exploit same training.

JstAnotherSub -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:59:57 AM)

Good for contacting the authorities.

Now please answer the question as to if you have ever met her.
