I see lots of discouraging comments from people that want to offer advice that wasn't solicited rather than admit that they have no idea what this symbol might be. I elected to ignore as many of the irrelevant comments as possible. As I said earlier, the authorities have been notified and now this thread should be closed.

It's actually because, unlike you, we realize that the brand is irrelevant.

I never asked for advice. I asked for help in identifying the brand.

Remind me to never call you for help if I am ever kidnapped (well, ok, in my case it would be old-ladynapped---ohhh, I think I need one ---a nap, that is, not a rescuer)  Anyway, if I called for help I would hope the person I called would be a little more concerned about me and NOT the symbol I'd been branded with! I mean, jaysuss, find me and then we can worry about the brand mmmK?
Here, why don't you tattoo an "L" on your forehead and then ask strangers on a forum what it stands for? I bet a lot of them would guess correctly!

kalikshama -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 8:46:55 PM)

Why is it that I am the only one who can follow the plot? The purpose of identifying the brand is to be able to identify the group the kidnapped her.

Yeah, but since the brand never really happened.......

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/9/2012 9:00:12 PM)

It's not like there's a brand registry out there, ffs...

Still, I'd want the police and/or FBI to know rather than one guy getting his info from the net before he calls them in!
~~yeah! it's the we-only-kidnap-people-with stoopid-friends;  it's their brand and their headquarters are based in Illinois!!!!~~  ???

They allow her to have contact through a messenger, but have blocked all other apps.

Apparently, her husband and his group of henchmen work for Nokia. Whats kind of funny about this is,
the symbol actually means that an app is accessing your current location.

The Dept. of Agriculture might be able to help with that.

LOL, this alone is entertaining in itself. Seriously, like anybody here is versed in Coast to Coast world wide brand symbolism to begin with. Personally, any idiot can put a circle inside a diamond. Like kids playing with different shaped objects.

Branding generally has personal meaning behind it... compared to being some f'n Cattle Brand. This ain't like those wild wild West movies where people do mass branding of their cattle (property). There ain't some big network different underground societies.. on par with say Vampire Lords.

JFC what the hell do people think at times about us BDSMer's in general (I seriously wonder). Dude you were disappointed that somebody did not step forth out of the shadows and guide you into some dark underworld...with revealing information. Nobody wants to loose their secret membership in their given fraction of the Dark illuminati. BTW, we use Captain Crunch Decoder rings when sending and receiving secret messages.

Yeah...I'm being a bit of a Bastard right now, but seriously you need to get a better clue and idea of the true reality here.

Next you'll be giving him directions to our secret lair! Sheesh! [>:]

Street, reading all your posts - in isolation - helped me understand what you are asking for. I now see that what misled me was the kidnap/abduction story... So this is really just a guessing game about a shape. Forget about kidnaping, just identify the damn brand.

I get it! A RUSTRE

Is the brand something of a RUSTRE ?

All are welcome to search that term in google, identify the lozenge rune and the circle, sus out some hidden meanings. Fun stuff.

What do I win???

PxC

The brand is for a local group that her husband belongs to. The adbuction turned out to be her punishment for leaving. So, this is more of a domestic violence issue and definately not a joke. The authorities have been contacted. Thanks for the help.

So, seeing you already know that the brand in question in fact belongs to a local BDSM group her husband belongs to, the problem is solved. In fact, you can do the community at large a great service by posting the name and location of this BDSM group that participates in these sort of abductions. I'm sure that's the sort of information we'd all like to know for umm, you know possible future reference in case errr.. someone needs to have his or her SO punished for leaving.. yeah.

GreedyTop -> RE: Identify This Brand (7/10/2012 8:12:05 AM)

Pssst... he didn't say it was a BDSM group.

It was probably the Illuminati, and I bet they kidnapped her using a big black helicopter, too!! *grins*

Perhaps she's being cared for in a safehouse with 8 mute slave sisters.

That's funny because Master said the same thing when I was telling him about this thread.
